Love Island USA season 3 started out strong but fizzled out after some of its biggest personalities left the villa too soon. Even though icons like Cashay and Aimee and drama starters like Shannon and Genevieve didn't make it to the finale, season 3 still managed to sneak in some funny moments that live rent-free in fans' heads.

Season 3 had all the usual Love Island antics. From awkward bits to naughty nights to corny conversations, this season had it all, including plenty of scenes that viewers couldn't help but chuckle at.

The Narrator

Love Island - Matthew Hoffman

Reality show hosts and narrators walk a fine line between letting the cast in on the joke and using the cast as the butt of the joke. This means commentary ranging between witty and funny or cruel and mean. Fortunately, Love Island USA narrator Matthew Hoffman tends to be downright hilarious. And season 3 was no exception.

Self-deprecating jokes were aplenty in the third season of the show's American version, and so were the puns and wordplay with islanders' names, experiences, and situationships in the villa. If only more narrators had the narrating skills of beloved Matthew Hoffman.

Javonny

Javonny was one of the most likable Love Island contestants ever. From the moment he chose to make his entrance via water slide, Javonny essentially solidified his place as comedy gold in season 3. However, production didn't give fans as much Javonny content as they wanted, making it a real shame that his time was cut short in the villa.

Regardless of the editing, Javonny's goofy personality was able to still shine through in moments like the Kissing Booth challenge, when he fell over after his passionate kiss with Shannon, and during his exit from the villa, when he shouted the name of Olivia, the girl with whom he had been coupled up.

The Game of Mr. & Mrs.

Though the islanders spend every waking moment with each other in the villa, that doesn't always mean they each know everything about their couple partner, which is only made more obvious by games like Mr. & Mrs. This season had some delightful soundbites that were both awkward and hilarious.

When asked the question "What keeps your man happy?" Will wrote "a vegan protein shake" while his partner, Kyra, opted for a deeper answer: "expressing our shared loved languages." It made for an awkward moment that had their fellow islanders (and the viewers) cracking up. For the same question, Javonny wrote, "being honest," while Olivia wrote, "feeling wanted." Javonny tried to salvage the obviously disconnected answers by saying softly, "That's the same." Hilarious.

Shannon and Josh's First Pet

At one point, Shannon became a single mom after adopting Toby the lizard from the girls' dressing room. Josh, however, felt there was no better moment than when Shannon had just united with Toby to pull her for a chat, leading the narrator to describe the situation as Shannon having "both Toby and Josh in the palm of her hand."

Josh, realizing Shannon was still holding Toby, asked if Toby was going to join them for their very serious conversation. Shannon replied it will just be "us three." Finally, Josh gave into the silliness of the moment, and the two decided Toby would be the couple's first pet.

Going Undercover

The Going Undercover challenge is always fun. It's a break from the "how do you feel?" chats and the heart-to-heart conversations, allowing the couples to be goofy and have a harmless laugh at the expense of their fellow islanders.

This season, in a moment that truly declared her as the unofficial winner of Love Island USA season 3, Trina convinced K-Ci to put eggs, string cheese, and coffee into a smoothie without being detected. Not to be shown up, Elly successfully got Charlie to meow like a cat during yoga, leading to the coining of the phrase "big cat energy." The funniest moment was when the camera cut to Charlie's confessional, in which he declared, "Elly is weird."

Will's One-Liners

When he wasn't attached to Kyra at the lips, Will had some funny moments during season 3. Though he managed to fly under fans' radar as neither a Love Island contestant who stayed too long or who left too soon, Will caught viewers' funny bone after cracking quite a few one-liners.

In one episode, Will found a rare teaching moment, educating the season 3 boys on the importance of peeing sitting down. Yes, this was a real thing Love Island USA aired in the year 2021. He also brought some comedy to a sweet moment with Kyra. She said, "I am lost for words." Will, who is from Colombia, cracked, "And I am the one who doesn't speak English."

Korey And Elly's Date

Dates either go one of two ways on Love Island: awkwardly bad or awkwardly good. Korey and Elly's date introduced a new category in that their date went well but there wasn't a whole lot of romantic spark between the two of them. Nonetheless, these two know how to have a good time and it was clear they were doing exactly that during their dinner date.

Both Elly and Korey were joking, laughing, and even making a couple of faux pas as they attempted to eat what appeared to be an inedible meal prepared by Korey. If only these two had cracked on romantically, then maybe fans would have less unpopular opinions about Love Island USA season 3's winning couple.

"The Villa Has Won The Point!"

The competition between the main villa and Casa Amor is a Love Island staple. It includes a series of silly, sexy, and group challenges both houses race to complete before the other. This season, Casa Amor absolutely crushed it. However, that doesn't mean they won every round.

In one of the few instances where the villa managed to nab a point, Charlie only further rubbed salt on the wound of Casa Amor breaking their winning streak by mistaking which house he was actually playing for. He yelled excitedly and proudly, "The villa has won the point!" completely forgetting that his team was Casa Amor.

Andre's Instagram Story

An unofficial part of Love Island is the post-show drama. Usually, this entails break-ups, make-ups, and reunions. While a group of season 3 islanders lived it up in New York City after filming wrapped, not every cast member was present, including Andre. He took it in stride, however, posting a few totally unedited photos to his Instagram story, making sure he was still part of the fun.

Andre also revealed his comedy chops after joking with Cashay on Instagram using the clapping hands emoji, a reference to the shocking moment when Charlie picked Alana over Cash, only for the camera to pan to Andre awkwardly clapping while Trina looked dead inside next to him.

The Fake Date

One of the best parts of Love Island is the friendships. This season, Jeremy and Korey stole viewers' hearts as the villa's best friendship. It wasn't just viewers who noticed the bromance. Olivia, Bailey, and Alana faked a text declaring America had voted for Korey and Jeremy to go on a date, and from there the shenanigans only increased.

The two fell for the charade, giddily getting ready for their date, with Korey asking Jeremy how his butt looks and Jeremy replying, "They let you operate a dump truck without a license?" After Charlie hilariously brought them protein shakes, their date concluded with Jeremy asking Korey to be his best friend.
