Season 2 of Love Island USA has begun, and we’ve started forming opinions about our favorite contestants. But where are they from? Here are the details of where each islander comes from and where they went to college.
Carrington Rodriguez
Although he currently resides in Salt Lake City, Utah, Carrington was born in Bitburg, Germany. He attended Dixie State University in St. George, Utah before starting his career as a sales manager.
Cely Vasquez
Cely grew up in the small town of Manteca, California. The native Californian now lives in Sacramento, where she attended California State University Sacramento. As she said on the show, she “loves Sac.”
Connor Trott
Whether Connor grew up in Pennsylvania isn’t clear, but he now resides in Pittsburgh. He went to Duquense University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he got his beloved degree in accounting.
James McCool
James grew up in Winchester, Virginia before moving to Orlando, Florida to pursue modeling and acting. Although there’s no information about where he went college, he did serve in the National Guard from 2012 to 2016, per his LinkedIn. He also has certifications from the International Sports Science Association and the American Heart Association.
Jeremiah White
There isn’t too much information to be found about Jeremiah White, the 22-year-old from DeKalb, Mississippi. The retail associate and model doesn’t have any college information listed online.
Johnny Middlebrooks
Johnny is from Chesapeake, Virginia - yes Cely, Virginia, does exist. He’s currently a student at University of Mount Olive in North Carolina where he runs track and field for the college team while pursuing a business degree.
Justine Ndiba
Justine was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo in Africa. She and her family are survivors of the Rwandan Genocide, which drove them out of their hometown. Justine’s family immigrated to the United States in 2001 and she grew up in New Jersey. She currently lives in Rockaway, New Jersey and went to college in New Jersey as well, but it’s not clear where. At 27, Justine doesn’t post much about her college career online. It is clear that she played soccer in college, which she was very passionate about.
Kaitlynn Anderson
Kaitlynn is an influencer from the small town of Lapeer, Michigan. She currently lives in Las Vegas, but it’s unclear where she attended college.
Kierstan Saulter
Kierstan currently lives in Austin where she works as an influencer and a bar waitress. Although there isn’t any information on where she went to college, Kierstan went to Medina Valley High School in Castroville, TX, as listed on her LinkedIn profile.
Mackenzie Dipman
The 24-year-old from Scottsdale, Arizona, is currently a student at Arizona State University. Mackenzie also used to compete in beauty pageants, where she won a Miss Arizona and a Miss Idaho title.
Moira Tumas
Moira is from Brielle, New Jersey, where she enjoyed water sports as a child. She’s now a shopping channel model, but there is no information online about where she went to college.
Rachel Lundell
Rachel is a 23-year-old student and bartender. She lives in Minneapolis but it’s unclear which college she attends there.
Tre Forte
Tre is a native of Youngstown, Ohio and went to Ohio State University where he played on the college football team. He currently lives in Boca Raton, Florida, where he is a personal trainer.
