CBS has finally announced the Love Island USA season 2 cast, and it is full of beautiful islanders who are ready to fall in love. Last year, CBS aired the first-ever American season of Love Island. The show received mixed reviews but gained enough popularity to get a renewal. Host Arielle Vandenberg and narrator Matthew Hoffman are set to return for this second season. On season 1, fans got to meet a total of 25 islanders who wanted to fall in love. However, most of them ended up getting dumped before viewers even had a chance to get to know them better.
The final four couples on Love Island season 1 consisted of Emily Salch & Weston Richey, Caro Viee & Ry Gantt, Alexandra Stewart & Dylan Curry, and Elizabeth Weber & Zac Mirabelli. In the end, Elizabeth & Zac took home the $100,000 grand prize. However, the couple has split since appearing on the show. On the other hand, third-place Caro & Ray are still very much together. Now, a whole new batch of islanders will get the same chance to find their soulmates.
Per CBS, the initial Love Island season 2 cast consists of 11 islanders: five girls and six boys. Cely Vazquez is a 24-year-old legal secretary who lives in Sacramento, California. She is fluent in Spanish and broke up with her last boyfriend over a year ago. Justine Ndiba is 27 years old and describes herself as both a billing coordinator and a go-go dancer. She is just coming off of a six-year relationship. Kaitlynn Anderson is a 27-year-old who describes herself as a "small-town girl." She lives in Lapeer, Michigan, and hasn't been in a relationship in over six years. Mackenzie Dipman is 24 years old and still a student in Scottsdale, Arizona. She's had a rocky dating history but is now ready to find her dream boyfriend. Moira Tumas is a model for a shopping channel. She is currently 28 years old and lives in Brielle, New Jersey.
Now, onto the boys of Love Island season 2. Carrington Rodriguez is a 22-year-old sales manager from Salt Lake City, Utah. He hasn't been in a relationship in three years but describes himself as a romantic. 23-year-old Connor Trott lives is a recent college graduate who typically uses Instagram to find dates. He lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and wants to become a certified public accountant. James McCool is a personal trainer who considers himself a "goofy dork." He is 27 years old and lives in Winchester, Virginia. Jeremiah White lives in De Kalb, Mississippi, and works as a retail sales associate. He is 22 years old and has Jay Z and Beyoncé as his role models for a relationship. 22-year-old Johnny Middlebrooks is a student from Chesapeake, Virginia. He is a college track-and-field athlete that wants to find a soulmate. Last but not least, Tre Forte is 25 years old and lives in Boca Raton, Florida. He is a personal trainer and has a crush on Rihanna.
Love Island USA season 2 premieres August 24 on CBS and is being filmed in Las Vegas, Nevada. Hopefully, there will be a lot of real connections for these islanders in the coming weeks... and plenty of love stories for viewers to follow.
