Former islanders have been reacting to Korey Gandy and Olivia Kaiser being crowned the winning couple of Love Island USA season 3. Korey and Olivia's journey on Love Island wasn't exactly straightforward. Throughout his time in the villa, Korey was coupled up with Kyra Lizama, Trina Njoroge, Florita Diaz, Cashay Proudfoot, and Leslie Golden prior to coupling up with Olivia. Meanwhile, Olivia spent most of the show coupled up with Javonny Vega.
For both Korey and Olivia, however, their time on Love Island USA didn't come full circle until Olivia made the decision to come back from Casa Amor by herself in order to explore her feelings for Korey. Olivia and Korey had just been friends all season long, but their feelings evolved into something romantic over time. Going into the Love Island USA season 3 finale, little did they know that they were the frontrunners to beat. And as expected, Korey and Olivia did win the season.
Now, former Love Island contestants have been celebrating Olivia Kaiser and Korey Gandy winning the show. On the official Love Island USA announcement on Instagram, many former islanders commented with congratulatory words. Elizabeth Weber wrote, "Awe happy they won." Elly Steffen wrote, "My babies." Raul Frias commented with a clapping emoji. As seen in the screenshots below, many islanders also took to their Instagram Stories to celebrate Korey and Olivia's victory. Javonny Vega wrote a simple, "Congratulations." Cinco wrote, "Super dope and I'm happy for both of you." Slade Parker wrote, "I love and miss you both."
Other former islanders celebrated the winners of Love Island USA season 3 via Instagram Stories as well. Shannon St Claire wrote, "Congrats besties, you deserve it." Josh Goldstein wrote, "Could not be happier for these two right here, you both deserve it." Leslie Golden wrote, "Congrats to these two beautiful humans. [Korey] is seriously such a pure soul, and deserves so much love. And I'm so happy that an amazing, strong woman like [Olivia] could be there to give it to him. I love you both so much!" Lei-Yen Rapp wrote, "Go off [Olivia] and [Korey]. Soooo proud of you two." Genevieve Shawcross wrote, "Congrats [Olivia] and [Korey]." Roxy Ahmad wrote, "Congrats to these two."
On their end, Korey and Olivia have thanked the fans several times for trusting them with this title and awarding them with the $100,000 grand prize. They seem to be committed to making their relationship work outside the villa, and Olivia even mentioned that she'll be visiting Korey's hometown, Virginia Beach, sometime soon. It is assumed that Olivia will be able to meet Korey's family and friends while in Virginia Beach, which would be a huge leap for them as a couple. For now, the fans are wishing them nothing but success.
