Love Island USA star Mackenzie Dipman has taken the time to update the fans who had been asking why she isn't posting too many pictures with Connor Trott in recent times. Mackenzie and Connor met on day one in the season 2 villa located in Las Vegas. The two were together for a good portion of the season, but they ultimately felt pressured by the public and their co-stars questioning whether they were the right match for each other. So, when Casa Amor came along and heartthrob Jalen Noble was introduced, Mackenzie had her head slightly turned.

Mackenzie and Connor had a hard time rebuilding their relationship as Love Island USA season 2 moved along, as he was hurt by her decision to re-couple with a guy that she had just met. Consequently, Mackenzie tried to give Aaron Owen a shot, only to be dumped a few days later. In turn, Connor entertained the possibility of staying coupled-up with Moira Tumas as friends, but that didn't go anywhere and he was also eliminated right after. Alas, Connor announced that he was flying straight to Mackenzie after he got out of the villa, and that's exactly what went down. The pair reunited post-show and started to date on an official basis.

But after posting so many beautiful moments that they've had together following Love Island USA, some fans started to notice that Connor Trott and Mackenzie Dipman weren't seen together for quite some time. After seeing so many Love Island breakups happening between November 2020 and January 2021, these fans were concerned that something was going on between Mack and Connor. Alas, Mackenzie took the time to explain what's going on via Instagram Story. "Connor & I are still together," she started. "Connor did not start his full time job in public accounting until December, so for those first few months outside of the villa, we had much more time to spend together & visit each other. Now, Connor is in Pittsburgh & I am in Tucson. Connor's job as an auditor is very demanding & keeps him busy."

Mackenzie went on to explain how she wants to be nothing but supportive for her Love Island USA beau. "You want advice for long distance relationships? Be supportive of your partner's goals & growth. Connor has my support & I know I always have his," the islander stated. It should be noted that starting a career in accounting can indeed be very time demanding for new professionals. Between finishing up college and growing her social media presence, Mackenzie also has a lot on her plate at the moment. With that said, it definitely seems like the couple is all-in on making things work between them.

The Love Island USA fans love Mackenzie and Connor together. Thankfully, it looks like they are working things out, even if their relationship needs to be long-distance right now.
