After dating season 2 islander Bennett Sipes for a few months, Love Island USA season 3 star Leslie Golden appeared alongside Jeremy Hershberg to throw shade at her ex. Prior to getting cast on Love Island, Leslie was already a quite famous TikToker and social media influencer. She was introduced in the season during the Casa Amor twist and turned out to be one of only two girls who made it to the main villa.
After making a big splash at Casa Amor and establishing several great connections with her costars, producers found out that Leslie had brought a dab pen into the villa and proceeded to immediately kick her off the show. Leslie proceeded to share her side of the story and then got into a relationship with Love Island USA season 2 star Bennett Sipes. They dated for several months but broke things off toward the end of 2021. Currently, Bennett is dating Too Hot To Handle star Carly Lawrence, whereas fans believe that Leslie might be potentially dating her former co-star Jeremy.
Leslie and Jeremy recently spent a lot of time hanging out in New York City and shared quite a few Instagram posts together. As seen in the screenshots below, one of Leslie's Instagram Stories was a blurred-out picture of her and Jeremy with the caption "Who's that?" Just a few days before that, Too Hot To Handle's Carly had apparently also shared an Instagram Story of her own showing off Bennett in a blurred-out picture with the caption "Who's that?" So Leslie later alluded to the fact that her post was a reference to Bennett, who is her ex. She wrote, "Upset that some of you didn't understand my reference of the blurry pic I posted with Jeremy. We're 100% making fun of my ex lol."
To be fair, Leslie has a few exes and didn't specify which particular ex she was referring to in this post. With that said, Bennett is Leslie's most recent ex, and he is obviously connected to her and Jeremy as a fellow Love Island USA alum. There is also this apparent connection between what Leslie posted and what Carly had just shared a few days before. All things considered, there are a lot of reasons why fans are led to believe that Leslie is throwing shade at Bennett here, despite what seemed to be a very amicable breakup between them.
Given that Leslie and Bennett dated for a few months immediately after her time on Love Island USA season 3, it is hard for fans to forget this relationship right away. Now that both Bennett and Leslie are seemingly moving on, it appears that some shade-throwing has begun. One thing is certain: Love Island USA fans will keep an eye out for these two.
