Love Island USA season 3 winners Korey Gandy and Olivia Kaiser have now officially broken up. Reality TV viewers were introduced to Korey on Love Island USA as a 28-year-old rental car agent from Virginia Beach, Virginia. Meanwhile, Olivia came into the villa as a 28-year-old cosmetologist and business owner from Anchorage, Alaska. Despite the fact that both Korey and Olivia were cast as OG islanders on the show, they didn't couple up until many weeks later in the season.

Throughout his journey in the Love Island villa, Korey coupled up with co-stars such as Trina Njoroge, Flortia Diaz, Cashay Proudfoot, and Leslie Golden. Meanwhile, Olivia was in a couple with Javonny Vega during the entire first half of the season. It was only after the Casa Amor twist that Olivia decided to really take a chance on her relationship with Korey. Despite having coupled up with Casa newbie Leslie, Korey also decided to pursue Olivia from that point forward. In the end, Korey and Olivia placed first at the Love Island USA finale and split up the grand prize of $100,000.

Now, Korey has taken to Instagram to confirm that he and Olivia have officially broken up. As seen in the post below, Korey shared two pictures of himself and Olivia at a party with their Love Island USA season 3 co-stars. Korey wrote, "Are me and Olivia still together? I feel like I owe everyone an answer so the answer unfortunately is no we are not anymore [broken heart emoji]." The islander went on to explain that this breakup was the reason why he acted so distant at the Thanksgiving party that the Love Island cast threw recently. "This was a mutual decision to take a step back in our relationship and just be friends for now," Korey added.

Later in the post, Korey talked about what Olivia taught him during their short-lived relationship after Love Island USA. He also reiterated that his time with Olivia on the show was "the happiest moment" of his life. On the other hand, life outside the villa proved to be much harder than they expected. Korey wrote, "In the real world we're faced with real-world challenges. Some that we couldn't overcome." The season 3 winner then offered some advice to his fans who might be going through similar situations: "You have to realize that you aren't always the problem. People change, we're all human and we're all still growing and that's perfectly ok."

As of this writing, Olivia hasn't addressed her breakup with Korey on Instagram. It's likely that the Love Island USA season 3 winner is taking some time to process this situation before coming out in public to address the end of her relationship. For now, fans will keep an eye out for new updates from Olivia and Korey.
