Love Island USA star Kierstan Saulter shares on social media that she's heartbroken all over again by Carrington Rodriguez as she watches back their journey on season 2. The fans first got to know Carrington during the season 2 premiere. He was introduced as a very romantic 22-year-old sales manager from Salt Lake City, Utah. Carrington finished that first day being coupled up with Kaitlynn Anderson, but it was clear to both that there wasn't anything there between them. On day 2, two new girls were introduced to the villa: Kierstan Saulter and Rachel Lundell.
Kierstan was introduced to Love Island USA fans as a 23-year-old bartender from Castroville, Texas. It didn't take long for her to grab Carrington's attention, and Kaitlynn was totally fine with letting go of him as well. This resulted in Kaitlynn's dumping, but Kierstan stuck around for most of the season. By the time that the Casa Amor twist was introduced, it seemed like Kierstan and Carrington had decided to just be friends. However, she didn't connect with any new guy and subsequently started to miss Carrington. But ever since Casa Amor, Carrington has been coupled up with Laurel Goldman, and they made it to the end as a Top 4 couple.
Unfortunately, it seems like Kierstan Saulter is still holding onto her feelings for Carrington Rodriguez and getting her heart broken by him even after she got dumped from Love Island USA. On Tuesday night, Kierstan said via an Instagram Story that she was going to start watching back season 2. The Story featured a screenshot of her and Carrington on the show. Kierstan wrote over the image, "and there goes my heart breaking all over again. way harder to watch this back than I thought. #actualtears #whereitallbegan." It's safe to say that watching back season 2 hasn't been the most entertaining experience for Kierstan, but maybe this could help her find some closure, which would be good news.
This Wednesday, the Love Island USA finale is featuring Carrington and Laurel as one of the Top 4 couples of the season. They'll be competing for the $100,000 grand prize, but it is pretty unlikely that they'll have a shot at winning the money over other more popular islanders. In any case, this is a huge achievement for a couple that has persevered despite facing a fair share of ups and downs throughout the season.
For now, the fans can only hope for things to work out for all of the people involved - Kierstan, Carrington, and Laurel. It can be hard for anyone to process their feelings following a breakup, and it's probably even harder when your entire relationship was filmed and broadcast on TV.
