Love Island's Eyal Booker is off to a fresh start this new year. The TV star informed fans of his resolution in a sizzling post on Instagram. His declaration comes on the heels of his breakup with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna's daughter, Delilah.
Booker's reflective message comes a few days after he and Delilah made headlines for ending their long-time relationship. The couple reportedly chose to call it quits in hopes for a "fresh start" as they go into the new year. The insider added that Delilah has chosen to be single while focusing on her career. Delilah was said to have encountered some difficulties in 2021 and came out stronger at the end. The course added that since the breakup, the young adult enjoyed quality time with her family and friends while keeping positivity in view. The source further explained that there was no cheating and that the relationship basically "ran its course."
With Booker's latest post, it is safe to say that he is also channeling a fresh start like his ex-girlfriend. In his post, the 22-year-old shared two photos that included a mirror selfie. Booker stood shirtless in what looked like his bathroom while he wrapped a white towel around his waist. The youngster, who looked like he had just taken a shower, flaunted his abs and biceps while sporting a tiny gold chain around his neck. The following slide showed a section of his house with a tall potted faux plant, an art piece on the wall, and a tiny shelf. Booker displayed more items in the last photo, showing a scented candle and some table books. "New beginnings & fresh starts. I have always said change is the most constant act through all of our lives," the model from London started in his caption. "If we don't embrace it, we remain stuck in something that no longer exists; Change is inevitable, it looks different for all of us, but it happens to us all."
Booker and Delilah are ready to continue their individual lives, away from a relationship that lasted over two years. They first met in 2019, after Delilah's sister, Amelia, spotted him on Love Island UK. Amelia thought Booker and Delilah would be a perfect match, and she took the cue from there. Delilah slid into his DM, and a few months later, the duo began their love story. The two had many public displays of affection, including their sizzling kiss in Beverly Hills. They would later celebrate their first anniversary in May 2020 while enjoying more moments of love, way into 2021. However Delilah fought some private battles concerning her health. In November 2021, she opened up about her health issues that led to an overdose. The fashion model listed Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections (PANDAS), Lyme disease, and encephalitis as some health conditions that she was battling.
Booker was on Love Island in its fourth season, but he found love outside the show. He had a good run in his love life with Delilah, and now they have decided to go their separate ways; fans can only wish them well in their future endeavors. Both have pledged fresh starts, and it is only fitting that they follow through.
