Connor Trott and Mackenzie Dipman are happily together since meeting on Love Island USA season 2, and they even took a surprise trip to Napa this week. It's been a few weeks since the public voted for Caleb Corprew and Justine Ndiba to take home the $100,000 grand prize at the season 2 finale. The other couples that competed for the prize at the finale were Johnny Middlebrooks & Cely Vazquez (second place), Calvin Cobb & Moira Tumas (third place), and Carrington Rodriguez & Laurel Goldman (fourth place). But in a shocking turn of events, one of the best and most solid relationships from the show ended up flourishing outside of the villa.
During the Love Island USA season 2 premiere, Connor Trott was introduced as a 23-year-old auditor from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Mackenzie Dipman was also introduced on the very first day. She described herself as a 24-year-old student from Scottsdale, Arizona. Connor and Mackenzie coupled up since day one, even if they were entirely sure about each other at the start. But it didn't take long for them to find deep chemistry and make their relationship official. Unfortunately, they had a rocky journey as the season went on, causing them both to be dumped from the villa at different points in time. That said, they found each other after the show and are still happily together to this day.
Connor and Mackenzie have had a busy schedule since leaving Love Island USA. The couple was spotted dining out with fellow islanders Kierstan Saulter, Sher Suarez, Yamen Sanders, and George Johnson. They were also together for Mackenzie's recent college graduation ceremony. Furthermore, Mackenzie and Connor have already taken quite a few trips as a couple. On their respective Instagram profiles, they've posted pictures in Malibu, Rancho Mirage, and Marina Del Rey. This week, they took yet another trip together. On Friday, October 9, Connor posted a picture of them at the 1801 First Luxury Inn in Napa, California. He added that this was a "surprise trip." Then, Mackenzie shared a photo of her and Connor walking through a winery in Napa.
It comes without saying that Connor and Mackenzie are turning out to be one of the most exciting and successful couples to have started on Love Island. They've been living their best lives since leaving the villa - taking adorable selfies, going on exciting trips, and also proving all their haters wrong. On one hand, it's a shame that they weren't able to survive in the villa. On the other hand, it seemed like the experience of constantly meeting new people wasn't that healthy for the couple... so they're better off being together in the real world.
The Love Island USA fans love to keep up with Connor and Mackenzie. Thankfully, they're sharing enough pictures and videos to let their fans take a peek at their lives together since leaving the show.
