Cashay Proudfoot and Cinco (a.k.a. Melvin Holland Jr) have been updating the fans about their relationship after Love Island USA season 3. As a day-one girl, Cash was initially coupled up with Christian Longnecker upon first impressions. However, little did they know that Cinco and Will Moncada would enter the villa later that day, each of them with the power to "steal" a girl that was already coupled up.
Cinco's Love Island connection with Cashay was very evident from the start, but something held them back from going all-in on each other. So when Trina Njoroge expressed an interest in Cinco, it wasn't all that surprising that he'd give that other relationship a try. Alas, between so many re-couplings, new boys and girls, and Casa Amor shenanigans, Cash and Cinco still felt strongly about their chemistry. Things unfortunately didn't work out for Cash and Cinco in the villa, but they're still pursuing a relationship outside the show.
Cashay Proudfoot recently sat down for her After The Island interview (full video included below) to talk about Love Island USA. From the beginning, Cinco was spotted standing right next to Cash, and Cash revealed that she was using Cinco's phone for the interview. "I'm literally in Virginia," Cash explained, "I had a layover yesterday (...) and I didn't leave." Later, the ATI co-hosts asked Cash to clarify where she's been. Cashay explained, "We met at the airport and it was supposed to be this really cute one-hour thing. (...) And then he goes, 'You could just stay.' And I said, 'Yeah, I could.'" Cash said that this initially started as a bet/joke between them to see if the other person would lose. But before she knew it, she was inside Cinco's car and heading toward his place. That same night, Cash met Cinco's dad, Melvin Holland Sr.
Besides the details provided during the interview, Cash and Cinco have also been updating the Love Island USA fans about the time they're spending together. As seen in the screenshots below, Cash shared an Instagram Story video of her and Cinco getting ready for bed, and also shared a meal that Cinco's dad prepared for them. In turn, Cinco also shared a video of him and Cash having a date at a restaurant. Even more recently, Josh Goldstein and Shannon St Claire shared a screenshot of them video-calling Cinco and Cash, who were clearly in the same room together. Cinco also posted a video of him and Cash together at a club.
It seems like the relationship between Cashay and Cinco is stronger than ever outside the villa. In fact, they don't even seem phased at all about getting eliminated from the show. Cash still wishes the best to Charlie, but she's happily all-in with Cinco now.
