Carrington Rodriguez and Laurel Goldman have been seen spotted together on Instagram pictures ever since they wrapped filming Love Island USA season 2. The journey for Carrington and Laurel to get to the grand finale was long and arduous. Carrington started out the season on day one when he coupled up with Kaitlynn Anderson. But there was never any real chemistry between them, so Carrington quickly recoupled with Kierstan Saulter when she came into the villa. They were together for quite some time, but they were pretty much broken up before the Casa Amor twist happened.
During the Casa Amor phase on Love Island USA, Carrington and the other male islanders moved into a separate villa where they lived with five new single girls. At first, Carrington was getting to know Mercades Schell, but he ultimately concluded that she was interested in Johnny Middlebrooks and just didn't get her way. In the end, Carrington chose to recouple with Laurel Goldman and came back to the main villa with her. The viewers first questioned their relationship, but they persevered to the very end and got to the grand finale of the season.
Since they left the Love Island USA villa, Carrington and Laurel had to go back to their respective places of residence. For Carrington, that meant Utah. For Laurel, that meant Florida. Nonetheless, the two islanders still found a way to enjoy some time together before life got real. They hung out immediately after the season ended and before they returned to their homes. As of now, Carrington and Laurel are still reportedly together. That said, they have not announced any official plans on their Instagram profiles about moving closer to each other or even moving in together. Still, the fans missing Love Island USA can still turn to their social media profiles to see them being adorable together.
It's usually hard for the Love Island USA couples to readjust to the real world after living so long in the villa. Between the American and the British editions, there aren't that many islanders that met on the show and are still happily together. However, it must be noted that this dating experiment did work for quite a few British islanders who are still happy even many years later. Unfortunately, however, the American islanders still have to take the time to catch up.
The fans are already missing the nightly escapes to Love Island USA in Las Vegas. The show will hopefully return for season 3, particularly after such a successful season as this one was.
