Love Island USA seasons 2 stars Carrington Rodriguez and Calvin Cobb have linked up after the show and had dinner together in Utah. Carrington was one of the six day-one boys that got introduced during the season 2 premiere. He was joined by Johnny Middlebrooks, Connor Trott, Tre Forte, Jeremiah White, and James McCool. He coupled up with Kaitlynn Anderson on that first day, but they were quick to point out to the other islanders that there was no chemistry between them. So by the time that Kierstan Saulter joined the show, the path was wide and clear for Carrington to recouple with her.
Over the course of Love Island USA season 2, however, Carrington eventually met Laurel Goldman, with whom he got to the finale. In turn, Calvin had a very different experience on the show. He initially coupled up with Moira Tumas, but things weren't really moving for them at that point in time. When the boys were sent to Casa Amor, Calvin came back to the main villa with a new girl, Sher Suarez. But once again things didn't work out. For a brief moment, Calvin tried to see if something could spark between him and Kierstan, but she was still in love with Carrington and had a hard time connecting to anybody else. Eventually, Calvin and Moira found their way back to each other... and in the end, the pair got third place at the finale.
On Tuesday, August 6, Love Island USA co-stars Calvin and Carrington linked up to grab some dinner. Calvin was visiting Salt Lake City, Utah, which is where Carrington resides. So they messaged each other and went out to catch up and eat some food. According to Calvin's posts via Instagram Story, they went to Benihana for dinner. Given that their respective Love Island partners Moira and Laurel live in different cities, it's been tough for Calvin and Carrington to figure out those long-distance relationships for the time being. The same has been true for Cely and Johnny, and even for Justine and Caleb. But as of now, all of the Top 4 couples of the season are reportedly still together in the real world.
Neither Calvin nor Carrington were able to take home the grand prize on Love Island USA, but they still landed great relationships and friendships that can now last a lifetime. For the fans, it's certainly fun to watch them getting together after the show. After all, this is proof that the memories they made together in the villa have built up a real friendship that goes beyond a TV show.
The fans are definitely keeping an eye on all of the season 2 islanders now that they're out in the world. That said, these co-stars are still facing many restrictions due to COVID-19 and probably haven't gotten together as often as they would want to.
