Fans of Love Is Blind are curious to know what happened to Giannina and Damian after the Netflix show stopped filming. The couple has been cryptic about the state of their relationship.
Netflix released a dating reality show of their own called Love is Blind. The proposition of the show is for singles to try and find a significant other to fall in love with; the only catch is the singles must do this without ever laying eyes on one another. The singles are released into pods for 15 minutes to talk to one another. Viewers will watch as the couples try and form an emotional connection without the interruption of physical attraction. Netflix is veering from its usual layout and releasing each episode in chunks instead of the first season at once.
When the couple landed in Mexico their connection was palpable. But as episodes continued to air, the usually calm couple became a big part of the storyline when they began to have heated arguments. The most cringeworthy moment of their relationship was when Giannina told Damien that he was not the best sex of her life like he had been telling her. Damian got the revenge of all acts of revenge when he decided to reject his fiancée at the altar. Giannina became the runaway bride as she tore down the aisle, shoes in hand running through the rain. The blonde’s makeup was running, and her dress was dirty thanks to the mud.
Fans are curious to see what the two have been up to since filming had stopped. Giannina spoke with Esquire recently to tell fans that she did not have a new love interest, instead saying she had “just the same one.” On her Instagram, she posted a picture on Feb. 26, wearing a ring that fans believed was the same one as her engagement ring. Damian had been in social media hibernation and only seven weeks ago posted a new picture, which showed him in a sunflower field with the caption “I’m back.” Coincidentally, Giannina also had a picture in what looked the be the same flower field.
Diehard fans will have to wait until next week to find out if the fan favorites are still together. Many hope that they chose to work it out, as they seemed to have a genuine connection when they met on the show and look forward to hearing their story at the reunion.
