Mark Cuevas from Netflix's hit Love Is Blind has received some exciting news, which is that he and his girlfriend Aubrey Rainey are expecting their first child.
On the show, Mark was paired up with Jessica Batten. The couple was the most dramatic on the show, with Jessica constantly caught between her feelings for Mark and her feelings for Matt Barnett. Barnett ended up happy with Amber Pike. They got married on the show, and are still together. Mark and Jessica's Love is Blind journey ended differently. Jessica said "I don't" at the altar and left Mark seemingly broken-hearted. Later, it was revealed that Mark's "nice guy" persona was all for show. He was dating fellow Love Is Blind season 1 contestant Lauren Chamblin during the quarantine... until she found out that he had been seeing someone else at the same time. Jessica then claimed that Mark had been sleeping around while dating her. In July, both Jessica and Mark told their Instagram followers that they had moved on. Both were in new relationships. Jessica is still with her boyfriend, Dr. Benjamin McGrath. Mark's mystery flame was revealed to be Aubrey Rainey.
In a People exclusive on Sunday night, Mark and Aubrey announced that they are expecting their first child. The couple told People, "We found out after a weekend spent with friends and family in West Virginia for Labor Day weekend." Mark, 26, and Aubrey, 25, will become parents in April of 2021. After meeting in Atlanta, Georgia, where Mark lives, they kept in contact and began seriously dating during the Fourth of July weekend. Aubrey, originally from Ohio, now lives with Mark in Atlanta. She told People that while she has been fatigued during her pregnancy, she hasn't experienced any morning sickness or other health issues.
The pair posted photos from their shoot with People on their Mark Cuevas and Aubrey Rainey Instagrams, to share the good news with their followers and fans. "Blessed beyond measure & cannot wait to meet our little pumpkin," wrote Aubrey, underneath photos of her and Mark holding a sign that reads, "Our little pumpkin. Baby Cuevas April 2021." Love Is Blind star Amber Pike commented, "This is so cute! Can't wait to meet y'all's awesome little Aires" on the post.
Mark's post included a photo of him and Aubrey kissing and showing off their sonogram photos. He was wished well by Bachelor stars Vinny Ventiera and Clay Harbor, and Love Is Blind stars Damian Powers and Giannina Gibelli. Mark posted on his Instagram story later, thanking everyone for their kind words and support. He wrote in his story, "Pumped to be a parent!" Here's wishing the Love Is Blind couple luck with their new journey! They'll be learning a lot more about love from here on out.
