Shake Chatterjee from Love is Blind is claiming that Deepti Vempati enjoys playing the victim when she talks about their past relationship. Shake made a name for himself thanks to his tactless outbursts and rude comments at the reunion and afterward on social media. Now, the veterinarian/podcaster is sharing more of his honest thoughts about his former partner.
Shake burned his bridges with multiple pod guests after he disregarded the rules of the Netflix show and asked his potential love connections if he could pick them up and what they were wearing instead of trying to form an emotional connection with them first. Shake's less than smooth moves left him with a bit of a reputation, but Deepti seemed to look past all his faults and the fact that he wasn't the typical sort of white boy that she usually dated. As her co-stars claimed, Deepti was a beautiful soul who looked like she may be getting taken advantage of. Thankfully she came to her senses on her wedding day and decided to leave Shake at the alter.
As Love is Blind viewers know, Shake is not one to keep his thoughts to himself. The Netflix star recently spoke out on the Domenick Nati Show and revealed that he thinks Deepti is playing the victim. According to Shake, he hasn't spoken with Deepti since the uncomfortable reunion special, and he is hurt that she is "playing up the victim so hard" when he feels he took such good care of her. Shake went as far as to claim he had many opportunities to have sex with Deepti but opted not to because he "wasn't attracted enough to make that commitment to her."
Shake had a lot of hate coming at him from the show's fans and didn't help himself when he shared that he felt that the whole cast lied through their teeth to protect their own images at the reunion. While Shake may feel he was the teller of truths, many feel he was often delusional and self-obsessed. Naturally, Shake confirmed he is no longer friends with anyone on the Love is Blind cast. Shake burned all his bridges, even going as far to suggest that some cast members used drugs while filming, though there is no evidence of that out there.
It is safe to say that Shake didn't make any lifetime friends or connections with his fellow Love is Blind cast members. Currently, he is dating Emily Wilson. Emily is more Shake's type since she is blonde and very easy to pick up at music festivals. Shake is riding the wave of his 15 minutes of fame and even has started his own podcast, Love is Blurry. Thankfully Deepti isn't taking Shake's words too seriously and is just letting him vent.
