For season 2, of Love is Blind, what do we know so far about the release date and casting? Fans are beside themselves to know if and when their favorite show will be renewed.

Netflix made a great decision and decided to release a dating reality show of their own called, Love is Blind. The idea behind the show is for singles to try and find a significant other to fall in love with; the only snag is the singles must do this without ever laying eyes on one another. Viewers will watch as the couples try and form an emotional connection without the interruption of physical attraction. Netflix veered from its usual layout and released each episode one by one instead of the first season at once. Now that the reunion has aired, fans have tense emotions regarding some of the couples.

As of right now, fans are dying to know if there will be a season 2 of Love is Blind because the drama would be just too good to pass up. The emotional roller-coaster that was the hit Netflix show shared a crazy experimental take on finding one’s true soulmate. Much of the drama happened after the couples had agreed to become engaged as that is when they meet face to face and fly off for a romantic trip to Mexico. Currently, the streaming outlet has not officially confirmed that there would be a season 2 but most television connoisseurs would bet dollars to donuts that they will be green-lighted thanks to the high rating season 1 brought in. The show’s creator, Chris Coelen, has spoken with The Wrap, hinting that there would be a second season coming.

Fans who may be interested in participating in a season 2 to try and find a Barnett to their Amber will have to be living in the designated city that the casting crew picks. Season 1 used couples from Atlanta so the proximity wouldn’t cause issues for them if their relationships did work out.

It is important to point out that Netflix does have a history of ending popular programs with only a handful of seasons like they did with Grace and Frankie. But most fans of love believe it is safe to say that Netflix will be seeing if Love is Blind in the near future. Anyone with a solid social media presence or Tinder account has a chance, since many of the previous contestants were pulled from dating apps.
