Warning! SPOILERS ahead for Love Is Blind season 2 episodes 1-5 below!

A total of six couples made it out of the pods and got engaged on Love Is Blind season 2, and viewers are looking forward to seeing if these relationships will make it all the way to the altar. At first, 15 women and 15 men got to meet one another in the pods of Love Is Blind season 2. Certain early connections were formed right away, but quite a few couples had to spend some more time in the pods interacting and learning more about each other.

Unfortunately, this process didn't work out for all the singles looking for love. Some contestants really struggled with not knowing how the person on the other side of the wall looked liked and/or didn't have good enough conversation skills to establish deep connections without physical attraction. There were also a few odd conversations about superficialities like social media followers and body shapes. Ultimately, though, six couples came out of the pods on Love Is Blind season 2.

Iyanna & Jarrette

Jarrette Jones and Iyanna McNeely on Love Is Blind season 2

From the very first episode, viewers loved the potential coupling of Iyanna McNeely and Jarrette Jones in the pods. He did also establish a connection with Mallory Zapata, but Iyanna was ultimately a better fit for Jarrette heading out of the pods. Between their many chats, Iyanna and Jarrette bonded even further as they opened up about past struggles that were tough for them to discuss with others. Their connection grew even stronger in the couples' retreat in Mexico despite Jarrette clearly being a clear extrovert and Iyanna being more of an introvert.

Deepti & Abhishek

Deepti Vempati and Abhishek Chatterjee (a.k.a. Shake) bonded over being Indian but never having dated another Indian person. Shake was a little over-the-top in his comments about only dating blondes in the past, but Deepti understood him since her exes had all been white guys as well. In the couples' retreat of Love Is Blind season 2, Shake struggled to connect with Deepti on a physical level. Alas, there's still a lot of potential between this couple.

Mallory & Salvador

Mallory Zapata did have some chemistry with Jarrette in the pods, but her heart was certainly with Salvador Perez. They connected through their Mexican heritages and similar values out of love and life. When Salvador serenaded Mallory in the pods, that was the final straw for her to fall for him. Once they got to the couples' retreat, it all looked like smooth sailing for Salvador and Mallory. On the other hand, certain insecurities and personality clashes did come up in Mexico.

Danielle & Nick

While it didn't initially seem like Danielle Ruhl and Nick Thompson would match on Love Is Blind, their very different personalities balanced each other out and they were able to develop a very genuine chemistry. Nick gave Danielle plenty of reassurance, which she really appreciated. Despite the fact that the couple hit a few bumps in the couples' retreat, fans hope that they can make it all work out in the next few episodes.

Natalie & Shayne

Shayne Jansen and Natalie Lee on Love Is Blind season 2

Shayne Jansen was a lot to certain women in the pods, but Natalie Lee found herself being charmed by his goofball personality and completely unfiltered statements. Shayne did have other conversations with Shaina Hurley, but their connection wasn't as deep as what he had with Natalie in the pods. With that said, just like Iyanna and Jarrette, Natalie did identify during the Mexico trip that she's much more of an introvert in comparison to Shayne, who is constantly bouncing off the walls.

Shaina & Kyle

Shaina Hurley and Kyle Abrams on Love Is Blind season 2

The biggest roller-coaster ride of Love Is Blind season 2 was between Shaina Hurley and Kyle Abrams. She seemed very interested in Shayne, but after he committed to Natalie, Shaina decided to give Kyle another chance. While Shaina and Kyle did butt heads over her religiousness and his atheism, they still ended up getting engaged in the pods. Alas, Shaina felt uncomfortable sleeping in the same bed as Kyle during the couples' retreat, so she chose to leave him there by himself. For the time being, the future of this particular couple remains undetermined.
