Love Is Blind season 2 was a raucous ride with plenty of drama to have fans making TikToks about the show almost incessantly. While the first season of the show was popular because of the new and exciting concept, it's safe to say that the contestants themselves have kept fans talking this time around.
Two cast members who have made themselves into hot topics on the internet are Shayne and Shake - and not for very positive reasons. These two men have come out of the season looking like dating show villains, leading viewers to debate who was the worst of the pair.

Was The Victim With Natalie
One of the most memorable scenes from the season was when Natalie was rendered absolutely speechless by Shayne in the pods. She had been gushing about him in the confessional and seemed excited about their connection going forward. When she got into the room she told Shayne to guess who it was and he said he hoped it was Shaina.
Understandably, Natalie was crushed. That would have been hurtful enough. But, with an apology and reference to the speaker system being bad, the situation could have been saved. Instead, Shayne went into full manipulation mode, telling Natalie "if you think I'm a d**k, that's kind of weird, no offense." which ironically became one of the funniest quotes from Love is Blind season 2.
Humored Shaina Prior To His Proposal
Shaina, who is also very problematic on the show, made it clear that she had strong feelings for Shayne and didn't care for the fact that he and Natalie grew so close. In a shocking turn of events, Shaina actually tried to profess her love to Shayne after she had already accepted Kyle's proposal right as Shayne was about to propose to Natalie.
Instead of shutting it down immediately, Shayne seemed frustrated that Shaina had not told him as much sooner. He even mentioned that things might've been different if Shaina had said something three days prior. Although he eventually tells her no, the whole thing is a blow to Natalie and the validity of their relationship.
Wanted To Take Risks With Finances
As time went on, Natalie and Shayne's differences became more and more clear. They repeatedly pointed out that they had different socialization habits and, more importantly, different spending habits. In a bizarre conversation with Natalie, Shayne says that he has no 401K or savings account because he likes to "take risks."
It's clear that this bothers Natalie and that she wants financial stability for what may become her future family. Shayne seems unabashed about spending copious amounts of money on food each month and doesn't seem interested in changing his behavior for the sake of his and Natalie's future.
Said Hurtful Words The Night Before The Wedding
Viewers - and Shayne himself - were surprised when Natalie said "I don't" at the altar. For all intents and purposes, it seemed like they were going to be able to work through their differences and were genuinely happy together. However, Natalie revealed that Shayne had told her he hated her the night before, which is arguably the worst thing Shayne did on Love Is Blind.
Not only that but Natalie shares that Shayne said she was the worst thing to ever happen to him. Apparently, the fight occurred under the influence following the group's respective bachelor and bachelorette parties. During the episode and at the reunion, neither one of them revealed the rest of the context of the fight, but it was enough for Natalie to second guess their relationship.
Had Shady Behavior With Shaina Later On
Shaina made eyes roll everywhere when she "confronted" Shayne about his relationship with Natalie at the cast get-together. She had actively tried to get Natalie to leave Shayne and then tried to spin it as Natalie and Shayne making it into something more than it was. While Shayne seemed annoyed, some fans thought it was weird he didn't stick up more for his fianceé during the interaction.
Furthermore, one of the biggest reveals during the Love is Blind reunion episode was that Shayne and Shaina had seen each other since filming ended. Through their heavily memed back and forth from the special - specifically, Shaina's nearly permanently-closed eyes - Vanessa and viewers picked up from the silence that something shady definitely went on between the two.

Asked Questions About Weight In The Pods
The entire point of Love Is Blind is to find love "sight unseen." That is, the contestants go into the pods searching for emotional and mental connections in place of just physical attraction and appearance-based bias.
Shake, apparently, did not get the memo. He made fans cringe with his leading questions to women in the pods about their weight, saying things like, "I love to buy women clothes. What size are you?" or, "If we were at a concert, would I be able to put you on my shoulders?"
Grabbed Deepti's Butt At The Reveal
The reveal is meant to be a romantic moment for couples on the show, and Shake ruined it by reaching around and grabbing Deepti by the butt moments after they hugged for the first time. It was as if he was incapable of having one genuine moment without physicality being brought into it.
Shake and Deepti might not have been one of the most dramatic Love is Blind couples, but they were definitely one of the most problematic, and Shake set the tone of his intentions for his time on the show in this moment.
Said Deepti Reminded Him Of His Aunt
If there's one thing a person never wants their partner to say about them, it's that they remind them of their older family member. And, that's exactly what Shake did shortly after coupling up with Shake. He complained that she reminded him of his aunt and was so different than anyone he's ever been attracted to.
Shake even brought this problem up to his mother when he introduced them to Deepti. In one of the best parent reactions in Love is Blind season 2, Shake's mother completely took to Deepti's defense and told Shake that Deepti deserved nothing less than a man that loved her 100%.
Talked Badly About Deepti To Everyone
Deepti is a strong, beautiful, and talented woman. So much so, that Kyle confessed during the reunion that he wishes he would have proposed to Deepti instead. That's why it was so surprising that it seemed as though Shake wanted to air out his dirty laundry to everyone about his feelings for Deepti.
Whether it was the confession, other cast members, or his own mother, Shake told just about everyone that he wasn't physically attracted to Deepti. Something so personal and hurtful definitely should have been left for a private conversation, but Shake didn't seem to care about decorum.
Had A Bad Attitude At The Reunion
Shake made his bad attitude very clear from the very start of the reunion special. In fact, it seemed like everyone had immediately had enough of him after he interrupted Nick and Vanessa's opening comments to say that his portrayal on the show was edited badly.
Then, he had the audacity to say that he does think the show is about finding a wife and that the only woman he was attracted to was Vanessa. Every few minutes, his foot would go deeper into his mouth, making for uncomfortable viewing. Deepti didn't deserve someone like him to be her partner on the show.
