Warning! SPOILERS ahead for the Love Is Blind season 2 finale below!

Natalie Lee didn't say "I do" to Shayne Jansen at the altar of Love Is Blind season 2, and some fans are now wondering if their sudden split had anything to do with the fact that Shaina Hurley wanted to pursue Shayne on the show. Despite being much more compatible with Shayne than Shaina, Natalie didn't have a particularly easy journey over the course of Love Is Blind. Besides dealing with a roller-coaster of emotions from Shayne in the pods, during the couples' retreat, and back in Chicago, Natalie also had to keep an eye on costar Shaina.

And yet, Natalie pushed forward, worked as hard as possible on her relationship with Shayne, and even challenged her own parents' assumptions of why this experiment was a terrible idea for her. According to fans, Natalie also looked past a lot of red flags from Shayne and dealt with the awkwardness between her and Shaina in a very mature way. Even then, Shaina allegedly tried to split Natalie and Shayne on the show.

So when Natalie told Shayne that she couldn't get married to him at the Love Is Blind season 2 finale, viewers immediately started to wonder if Shaina had anything to do with that decision. Judging only by what was shown in the episode, Natalie's choice came after she and Shayne had a really nasty fight the night before their wedding where he said horrible things about her. Natalie didn't specify everything that was said, but she noted that it was very hurtful. Meanwhile, Shayne looked very disappointed and even a little angry with Natalie during his confessionals on the show. At no point was it said or implied by Natalie or Shayne that Shaina had anything to do with what happened, but viewers still wonder what was the root of their random fight the night before their wedding on Love Is Blind.

For the time being, some fans will keep wondering if Shayne had any off-screen interaction with Shaina that might've played a role in his sudden fight with Natalie right before their wedding day. Nothing was shown at the finale, but these cast members are expected to come back for a Love Is Blind season 2 reunion special where they can all shed a light on what actually transpired between them. Despite the fact that viewers weren't huge fans of Natalie and Shayne as a couple, they seemed to be pretty solid throughout all nine episodes in the season, which makes their sudden split at the altar so surprising.

It's possible that Natalie felt like Shayne would be a better fit with Shaina since she was pursuing him. With that said, one can hope that Shaina had nothing to do with their split and Natalie made this decision purely out of feeling like Shayne wasn't the best partner for her. For now, fans can keep up with these cast members on social media and wait for what will surely be an explosie season 2 reunion special.
