Arguably one of the most shocking divorces to hit the Love is Blind franchise was between Iyanna McNeely and Jarrette Jones. The duo had a good run on the show and were one of the couples to get married. They stole the hearts of the fans with their love and the relationship that they had on screen and even with regular updates on their social media handles. One update fans did not expect was news of their separation and divorce.
When the show first started off, it seemed like Jarrette was going to get engaged to Mallory Zapata. He decided to pursue his feelings with Iyanna after Mallory refused his proposal in Love is Blind season 2. Iyanna and Jarrette had a good thing going. They got married and tried to merge their separate lifestyles together and it seemed like they were doing that well. The couple even went to Mexico to celebrate their 1-year anniversary. Fans gushed over how good they looked together, only to be surprised with news of Jarrette and Iyanna's divorce.
After jointly announcing their separation on Instagram, Jarrette turned off the comments and notifications to take time away from social media. He seemed to have gone to Costa Rica. A picture he shared had him on a bridge with a river in the background that ran under the bridge. He had a stick in hand and Crocs on his feet. He seemed to be hiking and fans in the comment section were wishing him and Iyanna well as they went through their divorce. Some fans though pointed out that the Crocs were a poor choice of footwear for hiking. He seemed to have been okay because in his next post, he was standing on an ATV and also riding it through the mud and looked pleased with himself.
After the trip to Costa Rica, The Love is Blind alum landed a paid partnership deal with Kay Jewelers. According to the Instagram post, he was getting set for a friends wedding and had on jewelry from Kay Jewelers. Jarrette was also a guest on the "We Are The Brand Podcast" for their second season. They tease that he will be revealing a lot more about his upbringing and his marriage to Iyanna.
Although fans are upset by their divorce, it's clear that the divorce is an amicable one. They still show support and respect for each other even though they will not be continuing their life journey together. The Love is Blind fans have been supportive through this trying time in their lives and continue to wish them well in all their endeavors.
