During the Love Is Blind reunion, fans were wondering - is Mark Cuevas still in love with Jessica Batten? It seemed like there was some tension there after Jessica apologized to Mark, and he seemed more than understanding.

The popular streaming service hit the jackpot when they, chose to release a dating show of their own called Love is Blind. Netflix explained that the premise of the show is for singles to try and find a significant other to fall in love with; the only catch is the singles must do this without ever making eye contact with one another. The couples must establish their love on what they feel in their hearts. Viewers watched as the couples tried to form an emotional connection without the intrusion of physical attraction during intimate meetings in their own pods. Netflix is veering from its usual layout and releasing each episode in chunks instead of the first season at once to keep their audience wanting more.

Fans came to know Jessica and Mark right off the bat as they bonded over their love of Chicago, deep-rooted family traditions, religion, but most importantly Italian Beef. Viewers were convinced that Mark and Jessica would become engaged until Barnett foiled their plans. The love triangle between herself, Barnett, and Amber Pike seemed a bit too desperate before she chose to be with Mark Cuevas, who was there for her since day one. Even though Mark made it clear that he was not going to be anyone’s second choice, he became it and adjusted to that role happily. Jessica gained herself pity with a few tears and all was forgiven. During their trip to Mexico, Jessica started to pick fights with Mark and make him feel insecure as she continually pointed out how much more attractive she found Barnett. It was hard for audiences to watch as it was obvious Mark was giving his all.
