Diamond Jack from Love is Blind has had a difficult road on the hit Netflix reality series. She began the experiment like all the other contestants, hopeful for love, and determined to find her soulmate in the Love is Blind pods. Diamond Jack and Carlton Morton had an instant connection and they became engaged after a few days of talking in the pods, however, things went downhill from there.
Carlton hid the fact that his sexuality is fluid from his fiancée, Diamond, he didn't tell her that he has dated both men and women in the past. Carlton was nervous that Diamond would reject him because of his sexuality, but he didn’t give her much of a chance by deciding not to disclose his sexual identity until they met in person. Diamond was shocked by this revelation but tried to be understanding and inquisitive about his sexuality and why he kept it from her. Diamond was unsure how she felt about Carlton after he kept his sexuality a secret, but instead of letting her make a decision about their future as a couple, he became defensive and angry.
It led to a Beyoncé-inspired argument. Diamond and Carlton parted ways, and they didn’t have any contact with one another for a while. The formerly engaged couple reconciled and apologized prior to the Love is Blind reunion. They ended the reunion on good terms. In an interview with V-103 Atlanta radio station, Diamond revealed that they have since fallen out again, with Carlton going on a social media rant about her. Diamond is ready to move away from the Carlton chapter in her life. Diamond mentioned during the Love is Blind reunion that she is attending school to work on her Ph.D. The interviewer also mentioned that Diamond is working in optometry or seeking her Ph.D. in that field. Before Love is Blind, Diamond worked at the V-103 radio station, and she was an Atlanta Hawks cheerleader.
Unlike Diamond’s career, her dating life, unfortunately, isn’t going well. Diamond mentioned that she was still single on the Love is Blind reunion, and Vanessa Lachey even tried to pair her up with Mark Cuevas when she mentioned finding him attractive. Diamond shared more details about her dating experience since Love is Blind, revealing that she has been on a few dates, but can’t find a suitable match. Diamond even shared that one date asked her to join him and his current girlfriend in an open relationship.
The struggle is definitely real for Diamond’s dating life. However, Love is Blind has hopefully opened up her dating possibilities, and maybe she could have a love story just as adorable as fellow Love is Blind contestants and couple Lauren Speed and Cameron Hamilton one day.
