Deepti Vempati took to social media to defend her Love Is Blind season 2 costar and BFF Danielle Ruhl against the online hatred she's been receiving for her mental health issues depicted on the show. There's no denying that Deepti became a Love Is Blind fan-favorite after watching all 10 episodes in season 2. She had to deal with a lot of insecurities from her fiancé Shake despite always being very supportive and loving to him.

After getting engaged to Shake and trying her best to work on their relationship, Shake kept finding flaws in Deepti and in their relationship. He also kept talking about not feeling any physical attraction toward Deepti, which was baffling not only to their costars but also to the viewers. With the show ending in Deepti turning down Shake at the altar, she solidified her place as a fan-favorite even further. In turn, Danielle has been criticized by certain Love Is Blind fans.

As seen in the post below, Deepti has taken to Instagram to come to Danielle's defense - particularly when it comes to the emotional roller-coaster that they faced while filming the show. "I wanted to take a moment for all of you to meet [Danielle Ruhl] through my eyes," Deepti started, "She is such a caring, empathetic, funny, lyrical, and down-to-earth human." Deepti then revealed that she and Danielle have become best friends outside the show and bonded over several shared interests that include the NBC sitcom The Office. They also share a few similar anxieties and insecurities, which is why Deepti can sympathize with Danielle so much.

Deepti then turned her attention to certain Love Is Blind fans who are criticizing Danielle on social media. Deepti wrote, "Mental health is an important subject and I will not pretend to know everything about it. But, one thing is for sure - when you are trying to heal and grow, having a healthy environment is necessary." The season 2 fan-favorite ended her post asking people to uplift one another and understand the experiences that people can have with mental health. Deepti also asked fans to be "compassionate and kind" toward Danielle.

Many viewers are excited about this friendship between Deepti and Danielle. On the show, Deepti seemed closer to Iyanna. While Nick had great relationships with basically everyone in the cast, Danielle wasn't shown interacting with others as often. Alas, it seems like Deepti and Danielle are a power duo, and fans are loving it.
