When Colleen and Matt met in the Love Is Blind pods, fans of the series weren't convinced that they would work out. Matt was clearly not over how his first marriage traumatically ended, while Colleen only grew closer to Matt after she was rejected by Cole Barnett and Brennon Lemieux. Colleen and Matt got engaged in the pods, however, and spent the next four weeks together.
Although Colleen and Matt initially appeared to have more chemistry than other couples like Cole and Zanab Jaffrey, Love Is Blind fans quickly worried about Colleen as they watched Matt's erratic behavior. While Colleen was caught in a compromising conversation with Cole, Matt threatened to leave Colleen multiple times and displayed a fiery-hot temper. Viewers who watched Colleen and Matt tie the knot on Love Is Blind season 3 noticed that there weren't many people in attendance, which is the norm on Love Is Blind. Due to Love Is Blind's COVID-19 precautions and the show's short time frame, Colleen and Matt's biggest reason to plan another wedding is so all of their loved ones have the opportunity to celebrate their love with them. "A lot of our family and friends weren’t able to make it," Colleen confirmed to Us Weekly. “Yeah, it was a lot going on. So we do wanna have another one. How big that is, I don’t know," Matt agreed.
Colleen & Matt's Love Is Blind Ceremony Lacked Originality
While Colleen and her Love Is Blind season 3 co-stars looked gorgeous on their respective big days, Colleen and Matt also revealed that they wanted to plan another ceremony because their wedding wasn't a complete reflection of themselves. Colleen and Matt got married in a simple indoor ceremony that appeared to be the same location where Nancy Rodriguez and Bartise Bowden split, and although Colleen doesn't regret their wedding day, she told Us, "We definitely will be having another ceremony just because I always had envisioned my wedding to look a certain way," and added, "I just would like more of a Colleen and Matt touch."
What Else Are Colleen & Matt Looking Forward To After Love Is Blind?
Although Colleen and Matt captivated viewers on Love Is Blind season 3, their journey as a married couple has only just started. Like co-stars and fellow married couple Alexa Alfia and Brennon, Colleen and Matt have already discussed the idea of children. "[I want] four or an even number,” Colleen told Us, and reasoned, "There can't be an odd number on the rollercoaster!" While Colleen and Matt admitted that they still don't live together at the dramatic Love Is Blind season 3 reunion, they also revealed that if things work out, they'll get their own place in May 2023. Although Colleen gushed that she planned to "spend the rest of [her] life," with Matt, fans who are already interested in Love Is Blind season 4 will have to see if Colleen and Matt stand the test of time.
