After having the most explosive break ups, shown so far on Netflix's latest reality show Love is Blind, Diamond Jack and Carlton Morton are now opening up about why they fell out and cut off their engagement.

The show hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey uses a speed dating format to help strangers find love sight unseen. Diamond, a 28-year-old PhD student and former Atlanta Hawks dancer, and Carlton, a 34-year-old social media manager became love struck for each other after only 10 days of conversation. The two connected instantly, quickly deciding to move on to the next step and become engaged. Soon after Diamond said yes they were able to see each other in person. With the added aspect of physical attraction, their love seemed to flourish even more. Unfortunately, just as fast as they fell in love, their relationship soon crumbled upon their arrival to their Mexico vacation. Carlton made the decision to not disclose to Diamond that he previously dated both men and women. When the conversation was had it lead to a heated argument with name calling and a drink thrown in Carlton's face. During the interview, both Love is Blind stars discussed the nervousness they felt prior to the airing and the aftermath that came from their exit episode. Carlton prepared loved ones close to him by informing them that he "spoke his entire truth" on the show and it may be a difficult time for him, meanwhile Diamond didn't tell anyone because she was scared of what would be shown. Both have received an array of mixed reactions including some death threats. Coming to terms with the backlash, Carlton has indicated some people have chose to see what they want and he believes there is nothing he an do about it. Diamond spoke openly, making it clear she is not homophobic or bi-phobic. She went on to state she doesn't think it's right to lash out on those who don't understand the community or lacks knowledge about it.

Though their love seemed promising, it was all destroyed in an instant, sourcing from Carlton's decision not to disclose to Diamond his prior dating history. Many factors played into their explosive end on Love Is Blind. Behaviors outside the pod are a major factor to long term success. Prior to the tense conversation there seemed to be a noticeable difference in Carlton's behavior, where he made comments referencing himself as "Daddy" and asked Diamond if she wants to wear a "Mommy" hat, in which Diamond vocally expressed her disdain against. Considering these factors and how bad their first argument went, one can only wonder if they were ever meant for each other.
