Shake a.k.a. Abhishek Chatterjee has now unfollowed nearly all of his main co-stars from Love Is Blind season 2 on Instagram and announced his reasons why via a recent post. It hasn't been an easy time for Shake since Love Is Blind was released on Netflix. He was negatively perceived on social media after his comments toward women about their bodies and sizes in the pods. Shake then got engaged to Deepti Vempati but had a hard time establishing a physical connection with her.
Over the course of Love Is Blind, Deepti really tried to work on her relationship with Shake, but nothing came to fruition. He constantly talked about not feeling a physical attraction toward his fiancée but kept leading her on with promises that he'd try harder. In the end, though, promises weren't enough for Deepti to say "I do" to him at the altar. After all, Deepti felt like she deserved someone who was all-in on her.
Ever since Netflix dropped the Love Is Blind season 2 finale, fans and other cast members have criticized Shake for his behavior at the altar. In response, Shake has shared multiple social media posts over the course of several days trying to explain himself and/or excuse his behavior as "keeping it real" with the audience. Now, the reality TV star has shared another update that might surprise certain fans: he is no longer following most of his main Love Is Blind season 2 co-stars on Instagram anymore. Out of the main cast members that moved beyond the pods, the only co-stars that Shake is still following on Instagram are Mallory Zapata and Shaina Hurley.
Shake had already called Kyle Abrams a "serial cheater" in recent posts, but the IG Story included above shows that he has also taken issue with Nick Thompson. Otherwise, it is noteworthy that Shake isn't following other co-stars such as Iyanna McNeely, Jarrette Jones, Salvador Perez, Danielle Ruhl, Natalie Lee, and Shayne Jansen. On the other hand, Shake is still following a few early-outs on Love Is Blind season 2 such as Rocky Smith, Trisha Frame, Olivia Harris, Joey Miller, and Vito Salamone, to name a few. Shake also follows a lot of season 1 stars such as Cameron Hamilton, Matt Barnett, and Damian Powers.
It seems clear that Shake is not on the same page as most of his Love Is Blind co-stars. Some of them had a direct conflict with Shake, whereas others have just made him annoyed, upset, or disappointed. With the Love Is Blind season 2 reunion coming up, way more details will be revealed about this cast and their dynamics.
