The controversial Love Is Blind star Shayne Jansen just admitted he and Natalie Lee have tried to make their relationship work four times now. Shayne didn't exactly have the easiest time on Love Is Blind's Season 2. He fell for two women in the pods, the spicy and confident Shaina Hurley, and the kind-hearted and affectionate Natalie. Despite telling Natalie she was his number one, and even going so far as to make her his girlfriend, Shayne was still speaking to Shaina on the side. When Shaina found out Shayne had a girlfriend, she cut him off. Shayne was able to get closer to Natalie and even proposed to her. Though the two had their ups and downs given the Shaina drama, Natalie said yes.

Things took a bad turn once the couple was physically united in Mexico. Shayne started showing his red flags early, and it seemed every time something upset him he would lash out and turn things around on Natalie. This pattern came to a head on the day before their wedding. Natalie and Shayne got into a fight in which Shayne told Natalie she was "the worst thing that's ever happened" to him, and that he "hated her". After such a disturbing display Natalie asked him if the couple could postpone their wedding to work on their issues, but Shayne decided to go through with the wedding. At the altar, Natalie turned Shayne down, but that wasn't where their relationship stopped. During the reunion episode, Natalie and Shayne confirmed they'd tried again to make it work, and it seems like those attempts continued even after the reunion was filmed.

In an interview on The Bachelor Nick Viall's podcast The Viall Files, Shayne gave his side of the story, "We reconnected four times after the show. We tried four times — just recently this past weekend." A surprise to many considering "this past weekend" means March 26, given the podcast was filmed this Tuesday. When asked where he and Natalie stood now, Shayne did not hold back, "Some things happened in the last couple days where it’s like, ‘I’m fed up with it now." Nick warned him Natalie may not like the things he has to say but Shayne didn't care, adding, "I’m sick of her getting away scot-free." During the reunion episode, Shayne said something similar, about wanting Natalie to admit he's actually a good guy despite the way he came across on the show. But to many fans plenty of the things Shayne did felt like gaslighting and manipulating, definitely not justifiable or "good guy" behavior.

Shayne's tried to say that Natalie wasn't fully innocent explaining, "[Natalie and I] were having a conversation yesterday, and … she calls me a disgusting human being, all this kind of stuff." Even adding, "She still can’t get over the whole Shaina stuff." Referring to Shayne and Shaina's relationship on as well as off-screen. As fans have speculated if the two ever dated after filming wrapped, and while the reunion gave no answers, Shayne's apprehension to answering the question did. Shayne went on to make a slew of claims and their relationship. Natalie has been quick to respond with a lengthy post on her Instagram Story in which she states, "We dated twice after our wedding, not four times. Recently we met up to discuss the possibility of reconciliation but ultimately agreed not to date until he changed some of his behaviors."

While it's not surprising that Natalie and Shayne tried to get back together after the show, Love Is Blind stars in particular tend to keep in contact after filming. Though it is surprising that this conversation took place only a few days ago. From the reunion episode, it was obvious there were still feelings between the pair. But given how Shayne spoke about Natalie, it may have been better to sit on the emotions a little bit longer before taking their behind-the-scenes drama to the main stage.
