The love story of Lauren and Cameron Hamilton feels like it unfolded in another era. For the audience who witnessed Love Is Blind when it was released, the instant connection played out in quarantined pods, before quarantine and social distancing were a part of the global lexicon. Throughout the month of February, as more episodes dropped, the viewership of this Netflix reality special skyrocketed. Lauren and Cameron's intense love for one another was central to the narrative.

There were several factors that made Lauren and Cameron's love story sweeter than most. They fell in love almost instantly (of course, there were hours of conversation we were not privy to due to editing constraints) and, unlike shows that pit couples together on a marriage path in a short amount of time, the Hamiltons didn't choose to get engaged out of necessity. The two were sure of their love before seeing each other, and the big reveal appeared only to confirm the connection. Cameron's soft-spoken yet confident demeanor was complemented by Lauren's outgoing persona. As Cameron reassured Lauren from the honeymoon to moving in together to, eventually, the altar, Lauren brought up the difficulties in convincing her father that an interracial marriage was not going to be an issue. She seemed unsure, even the day before the wedding, whether she would say "I do." How much of that suspense was egged on by the producers of the show? That topic, as well as many more, has been discussed in the couple's YouTube channel Hanging With The Hamiltons. The recently married couple has had plenty of time to produce home-bound content for their fans, since the quarantine period hasn't really let up much since the show aired.

In addition to the YouTube channel they created, both Lauren and Cameron have slowed down in interacting with fans on their social media channels. While much of the attention around Love Is Blind has subsided since the onset of the pandemic, there were so many people who tuned in that there's still millions of followers keeping tabs on the lives of Lauren and Cameron. The Atlanta-based couple looks like they are still close with the others who found love on the show. A month ago, Cameron posted a photo with Matt Barnett and Damian Powers with the caption, "Good to work out with some old friends."

In an Instagram post Lauren Speed-Hamilton shared with Cameron and their dog, one fan suggested they should make a YouTube series called Christmas With the Hamiltons. It is tempting to look for cracks in a relationship so public like this one, but Lauren and Cameron leave no room for doubt. Whether it's YouTube or Instagram, the Hamiltons are constantly updating fans on how their relationship is going...and attempting to answer the question that inevitably gets asked over and over again: "When are you having children?"

For now, Lauren and Cameron seem content to build a solid foundation with one another before welcoming more humans into the house. Earlier this month, Lauren shared a photo, shown above, captioned, "Work has really picked up these last few weeks. Glad I got my partner in crime by my side." By the looks of it, Lauren and Cameron appear to have weathered this crazy year with grace and excellence. It's hard not to see what they've built and feel like they are #couplegoals.
