Heather and Dylan Smith haven't even made it home following his prison release and the couple is already off to a rocky start. In an exclusive clip of Friday's episode of Love After Lockup, fans get a chance to see how Heather's fight with her aunt put Dylan in hot water with his parole officer.
Season three of Love After Lockup introduces us to Heather and Dylan's love story following his release from a five-year bid in prison. Unlike most couples on the show, the two actually met right before Dylan was arrested and not via a prison penpal program. During her confessional, Heather shared how she originally met Dylan at a party a few days before his arrest. The early encounters were enough to make Heather stick by his side while he completed his sentence. So far, the show has shown Heather's excitement leading up to Dylan's release, including a kinky shopping session at a lingerie shop. Leading up to Heather picking Dylan up from jail, she expressed her eagerness to marry him and start a family together.
But Heather and Dylan's future together is already in jeopardy on the first day of his release. Fans watched as Heather's argument with her Aunt Diane caused a delay in her getting Dylan over to his parole officer on time. One of the couple's first stops was to visit Heather's aunt. Heather and her aunt got into a back and forth after Heather accused her aunt of showing Dylan too much attention. After engaging in a shouting match for a few minutes, Heather realized she now has to rush to get Dylan over to his first check-in with his new parole officer. A new exclusive clip of Friday's episode shows Heather pushing the pedal to the metal to get Dylan checked in on time:
"Your parole officer is here Dylan," his aunt tells him over the phone. "You see, and this is the sh*t I'm talking about," Heather snipes. After telling her to chill out, Heather is seen giving Dylan the middle finger. "I'm trying not to go back to prison my first day out," Dylan shouts. "Me f**king too," Heather shouts back before speeding up the car. Three hours after his release, Heather pulls up to Dylan's house, where his parole officer has been waiting for him. "When you leave prison, your first order of business is to get to your parole site and check in with your parole officer," Dylan explains during his confessional. "And now I'm panicking. I don't want to go back to prison. Not on my first day," he adds.
Cameras continue rolling as Dylan goes to speak to his P.O. Heather watches on full of nerves knowing the part she played in his late check-in. Now, the couple is stressed worrying about if Dylan will be sent back to jail for meeting his parole officer so late.
