Lost Ark players working towards completing the Adventure's Tome in Yudia will need to find and slay the Salt Giant, a large troll-like beast with a white, rocky appearance. Before fans can face this beast, they must have finished all of Rethramis' main quests to arrive in Yudia. While it's possible to head straight to the Salt Giant's location, Lost Ark players should consider following Yudia's questline since it will eventually lead them to the Aregal Salt Flats, where the giant's open lair can be found.
The "Aregal Salt Flats" quest will become available once players have completed "Another Monument," the seventh quest in Yudia's main storyline. During this mission, fans will travel to the Nomad Camp in Saland Hill. From here, head southwest of the campsite to encounter the Elemental golem. Players can either take on the Salt Giant alone or with other players. Nevertheless, it is recommended to fight against the giant with a group, as soloing the boss will take quite a long time.
To beat the Salt Boss in Lost Ark, players need to ensure they have enough healing items or abilities to out-sustain the boss. The Elemental's basic attacks do not deal much damage. As a result, as long as Lost Ark players can either heal their wounds or avoid taking too much damage, they should have no trouble taking down the Salt Giant. The main mechanic that fans should look out for is the monster's AoE move, during which it will produce a large red circle on the ground. Afterward, the boss will slam down, causing heavy damage to anyone within the attack's radius. Fortunately, this move is relatively slow, making it easy to dodge or even walk out of.
How To Beat The Salt Giant In Lost Ark
As mentioned above, the Salt Giant is incredibly tanky and fairly resistant to most elemental abilities. Those playing alone are advised to use the chat to request aid before battling for a more streamlined experience, especially when repeatedly farming the boss. The Salt Giant will drop a plethora of valuable loot, potentially providing Epic and Legendary items. Lost Ark Collectibles needed for the Adventure's Tome in Yudia are also possible drops from the Salt Giant.
Because Salt Giant is required for the Yudia Adventure's Tome, it is likely players will often gather to farm the boss. Therefore, it is suggested for Lost Ark fans to join the fray whenever traveling through the area, as the boss is easy to kill, especially with the help of others.
