A photo from the set of the Loki TV series implies that a long-existing MCU corporation might factor in its narrative. Production for the show is currently underway with a string of images emerging online to give fans an idea of what could go down in its story. And among the takeaways from the batch of snaps is the insinuation that Roxxon may also appear in it.

Marking the return of Tom Hiddleston as the fan-favorite God of Mischief, Loki will see the 2012 version of the character prior to his redemption arc in Thor: Ragnarok and Avengers: Infinity War. This means that viewers will get to reunite at the trickster's naughtiest and mischievous time, only on the heels of his failed attempt to invade Earth in The Avengers. Despite dying at the hands of Thanos at the start of Avengers 3, Loki is able to return thanks to Avengers: Endgame's Time Heist where he escaped using the Space Stone - effectively creating a new timeline.

While Marvel Studios continue to keep plot specifics about Loki under wraps, official synopsis teases the God of Mischief popping up "throughout human history as [an] unlikely influencer on historical events." In conjunction to that, new set photos has given fans their first look at Owen Wilson's unnamed character, as well as the the potential debut of Lady Loki. However, a detail that has been overlooked from the same batch of images from Just Jared is the appearance of a bus that's labeled Roxxcart Evacuation Shuttle. This could be an implication that Roxxon will also be a factor in the show's story.

The Roxxon Corporation as featured in the Daredevil Netflix series

Roxxon Corp. is known to be one of the largest conglomerates in the MCU, and it has appeared in a handful of projects - both on the big and small screen. It was featured in Iron Man 1, Iron Man 2 and Iron Man 3; as well as ABC’s Agent Carter and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.; Netflix’s Daredevil and Hulu's Cloak & Dagger. Despite this, the Roxxon Corp. has yet to become a central plot in any narrative - a lot of its appearances in the franchise have been either a brief mention or a logo citing. In the comic books, its impact is much more felt. It's a petroleum industrial conglomerate typically run by corrupt executives which pits them against superheroes like Iron Man.

It's difficult to gauge how the Roxxcart bus factors in Loki (or if it's really a property of Roxxon), but since it's included in the set of images where the God of Mischief is running around with Time Variance Authority people. Marvel Studios' Disney+ Super Bowl spot revealed that the character may have been captured by the TVA after trying to run with the Tesseract is in hands. Between that and the revelation that the show will jump from decade to decade makes it trickier to theorize what's happening in the aforementioned scene.
