The Loki release time on Disney+ should be the same as the other Marvel Studios series, despite the fact that it's releasing on a Wednesday instead of a Friday. Disney+ is a year-and-a-half into its run so far and it's already upended the streaming space with blockbuster hits such as The Mandalorian, WandaVision, and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. It's no surprise Disney+'s biggest shows have been Marvel and Star Wars related, which is why they have plenty more on the way - which includes Loki.

Loki is the third Marvel Studios series to release on Disney+. Although Loki himself died in Avengers: Infinity War and wasn't brought back to life in Avengers: Endgame, since he wasn't killed by Thanos' snap, this new Loki is a variant from 2012, who escaped SHIELD's custody following the Battle of New York during the Avengers' time heist. The series will follow Loki as he works with the Time Variance Authority to prevent something disastrous from happening. And viewers will get to check out his adventures weekly.

Loki releases at 12:01 am PT, 3:01 am ET, and 8:01 am GMT on Wednesday, June 9. Again, although Loki releases on a Wednesday instead of a Friday, presumably to avoid clashing with Star Wars: The Bad Batch on Fridays and eventually Black Widow when it comes out in July, the release time for new episodes will remain the same at midnight Pacific on the day of release. This has been standard operating procedure for Disney+ since it launched in 2019. Netflix follows the same pattern, though Amazon Prime tends to release their episodes early.

Similar to The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki should consist of six episodes, which will release weekly. It's possible Marvel and Disney+ will delay one episode to prevent cannibalizing views with Black Widow, which releases on Disney+ Premier Access on July 9. Lucasfilm and Disney+ did something similar for The Mandalorian when Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker released in theaters in late 2019. But a long time has passed since then and Disney+ may not be as cautious this time around. In all likelihood, Marvel fans will eagerly watch Loki and Black Widow when they release. If nothing changes, then Loki will wrap up with its season 1 finale on July 14.

How To Watch Loki Online

As an exclusive Disney+ series, Loki can only be watched online through the Disney+ with a subscription. Unlike HBO shows that are streamed on other services due to agreements in various regions, Disney+ is now a worldwide streaming service, so the only way to watch Loki is to use it.
