Marvel unveils the trailer for the latest chapter in the documentary series Marvel Studios: Assembled exploring the making of recently-concluded Loki. The Disney+ anthology docuseries sees each episode take viewers behind-the-scenes of various Marvel Cinematic Universe films and shows in Phase Four, which includes interviews with the cast and creative teams of the projects. Prior to Loki, the first two episodes Marvel Studios: Assembled explored the making of WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier with future episodes planned for Black Widow and Hawkeye.

Created by Rick and Morty alum Michael WaldronLoki centers on Tom Hiddleston's God of Mischief as he escapes from 2012's Avengers with the Tesseract during Avengers: Endgame's time heist and subsequently apprehended by the mysterious Time Variance Authority. Offered with the chance to remain alive by tracking down a variant of himself killing TVA agents, Loki chooses to instead partner with the variant to get to the mystery behind the TVA and the Time Keepers. Alongside Hiddleston, the cast for the series includes Owen Wilson as TVA agent Mobius, Sophia Di Martino as variant Sylvie and Gugu Mbatha-Raw as TVA judge Ravonna Renslayer.

Across its six episodes, Loki quickly established itself as arguably the best MCU series on Disney+ thus far between its strong pacing, world-building, unique tone and the performances from its cast. While the sitcom-inspired world of WandaVision proved to be an intriguing angle to explore how director Matt Shakman brought it to life, the large-scale set pieces and timeless production design of Loki does feel more enticing to explore how director Kate Herron took viewers on its time-bending journey. Additionally, the chance to spend more time with Majors after his game-changing reveal in the finale and Grant after his delightfully off-kilter turn as Classic Loki is enough to get any fan to watch.

Thankfully those craving more of the multiverse shenanigans of Loki and a resolution to its shocking cliffhanger can rest easy knowing season 2 is already in the works. Plus, with the former chaos set to continue in this year's Spider-Man: No Way Home and next year's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the future is looking bright for Marvel fans. In the meantime, Loki season 1 and Marvel Studios Assembled: The Making of Loki are now streaming on Disney+.
