Lady Sif actress, Jaimie Alexander, celebrates her return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a behind-the-scenes photo from Loki. Marvel Studios' newest Disney+ series is the latest chance for Tom Hiddleston to reprise his role as the god of mischief. Thanks to the show's ability to play with alternate timelines and the multiverse, fans have been hopeful that other characters from the Thor franchise or MCU at large will appear.

The first significant MCU character to return alongside Hiddleston finally came in Loki episode 4. The episode included the return of Jaimie Alexander as Lady Sif. Her role came as part of a torture sequence for the god of mischief, as he was placed in a time loop based on a past memory involving Lady Sif. The scene went back to a previous time when Loki cut off part of her hair, leading Sif to beat up the Asgardian prince and tell him that he'll always be alone.

Now that Loki episode 4 is streaming on Disney+, Jaimie Alexander is celebrating her latest appearance in the MCU. The actress shared a behind-the-scenes photo on her Instagram from her time filming Loki. It shows Sif's haircut that Loki provided and a good look at her original Thor costume. Alexander remarked in the comments that she can't believe the suit still fits after 11 years. Check out the post below:

Alexander's return as Lady Sif in Loki marks the first time she's played the Asgardian warrior since 2015. She originally joined the MCU in 2011 for Thor and returned in Thor: The Dark World two years later. However, the next two appearances as Lady Sif came on the small screen. Alexander guest-starred on two episodes of Agents of SHIELD, one in season 1 and another in season 2. The latter aired in 2015 and was the last time she played Sif. There were talks of Alexander returning for Thor: Ragnarok, but her missing the movie could've saved Sif's MCU future based on the fates of the Warrior's Three in that film.

It is not yet confirmed if Alexander will return as Lady Sif in another MCU project after this Loki appearance. However, the actress has heavily implied Sif will be seen again in Thor: Love and Thunder. She was also in Australia at the same time the fourth Thor film was filming. Unfortunately, her appearance in Loki doesn't provide any clues for what her role will be there, as this scene takes place at an unspecified time in the past. This should allow Thor 4 to progress her character's story in any direction, unless Alexander appears again in Loki and shows a glimpse of Sif's current life in the Sacred Timeline.
