Caution: spoilers ahead for Loki episode 6

Loki season 2 is just a matter of time but, until then, Mobius is left asking "where's my Ravonna?" Since the premiere episode, few Loki fans have trusted the Time Variance Authority, and those misgivings proved wholly justified. Thanks to Loki's knack for mischief, Tom Hiddleston's MCU antihero was able to spark a revolution within the TVA by revealing its deception to Mobius, while Sophia Di Martino's Sylvie handled B-15, starting a chain reaction of disobedience. Judge Ravonna Renslayer handled the truth very differently. Already privy to details regular grunts weren't (such as the Void), Ravonna continued to believe in the TVA's mission, and desperately wanted to know who she was really working for.

In Loki's season 1 finale, Renslayer is no closer to a breakthrough. With an (understandably) angry Mobius on her case and B-15 corrupting the troops, Renslayer's authority over variants is on borrowed time. In her final scene of the season, Gugu Mbatha-Raw's uptight bureaucrat uses a TemPad to disappear into the temporal aether, leaving a bemused Mobius stuttering on the ground. Renslayer offers him (and the audience) no clue as to her destination, so where could Ravonna be heading?

Ever since she watched Sylvie deprive one of the TVA's "sacred" Time-Keepers of its robotic head, Renslayer has been on a mission to learn who put them there in the first place. Wherever she's heading in Loki season 2, it's surely in service of that goal. As Loki and Sylvie discovered, the TVA's leader was actually He Who Remains - a variant of Kang the Conqueror. But since Renslayer didn't show up in the Citadel at the End of Time, and He Who Remains remains no longer thanks to Sylvie, it's unlikely she's going there. Loki's wibbly-wobbly-timey-wimey antics mean Renslayer might've visited He Who Remains at a point in time before Loki and Sylvie arrived - but is that even possible now his death has changed reality completely?

Miss Minutes and Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Ravonna Renslayer in Loki

More likely, Renslayer is on her way to meet a different Kang variant. Perhaps the very first of them to crack open the multiverse, or maybe the Kang who has seemingly taken control of the TVA (as confirmed by that chilling final statue shot). This would line up with the Marvel comics, in which Ravonna is Kang's right-hand woman and lover. It's also possible (maybe even likely) that Ravonna traveled to the 31st century, allied with Kang, and then helped him become the Time Variance Authority's proud new owner. This way, Ravonna would get the answers she desires about the TVA's creation, and become part of the new and improved(?) regime.

Another important detail comes courtesy of Miss Minutes. Ravonna wanted the chirpy little avatar to unearth all files on the TVA's formation, but after the wheel stopped spinning, the Judge was left looking at the wrong files. When confronted, Miss Minutes ominously replies, "he thinks this will be more useful." The "he" in question must surely be He Who Remains (the variant Sylvie kills), which suggests Ravonna Renslayer was his contingency plan in case the Lokis made the wrong choice. Whatever Jonathan Majors' apple-cruncher told Miss Minutes to show Ravonna might've set her on a path toward saving the timeline from Kang the Conqueror.
