Netflix's Locke & Key just released season 2, with plenty of familiar faces on the show. While most cast members are memorable from their appearances in season 1, many of them had notable roles in other movies and shows.

Considering a good portion of the cast are either young adults or teens, they have changed a lot over the years. Many of them had roles in their younger years that many viewers might not have even realized were them due to aging. Other actors on Locke & Key had roles in which they went through huge makeovers, making them look entirely different.

Jackson Robert Scott - It (2017) - Stream On Max Go

Jackson Robert Scott portrayed Georgie Denbrough, the younger brother who's eaten alive in the sewers in It: Chapter One and It: Chapter Two. His character is most known for wearing a yellow rainjacket and for having one of the most shocking opening scenes in a horror movie, due to him being so young and in such a violent scene.

Aside from his breakthrough role in the It movies, Scott also made appearances in Fear the Walking Dead and Criminal Minds. Although, his role in those two series was much smaller than his most recent work.

Emilia Jones - Doctor Who (2013) - Stream On HBO Max

Emilia Jones played Merry in an episode of the highly praised British series Doctor Who. It would be hard to recognize her because she was much younger and her character was also an alien. Many fans would also be surprised to find out that the actress is from England, but she does one of the most convincing American accents on Locke & Key.

Other than Doctor Who, Jones could also be seen on the nostalgic Nickelodeon series House of Anubis and on Amazon Prime's Utopia, which was a remake of a British series that has now been canceled.

Kevin Durand - X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) - Stream On Peacock

Kevin Durand is hardly recognizable in his role in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, as he appeared much heavier playing Fred Dukes/The Blob. Either way, this role was pretty major, as he got to portray one of the first villains the X-Men ever fought in comics.

Durand also had notable roles in other movies and shows, such as Lost, Vikingsand the movie I Am Number Four. Other than on-screen acting, he also voice-acted on the popular animated series Scooby-Doo and Family Guy.

Sherri Saum - The Fosters (2013-2018) - Stream On Amazon Prime

Sherri Saum portrayed one of the mothers on The Fosters, which is a role that she's still attached to even though the series has long ended. The Fosters was one of the best shows about a large family who all came from different backgrounds. She still makes occasional appearances on the spin-off series Good Trouble.

Saum has been around in the industry for years, previously known for her work on the show Sunset Beach which came out in the 90s. Since then, she's appeared on episodes of Law & Order, Gossip Girl, and Grey's Anatomy.

Asha Bromfield - Riverdale (2017-2021) - Stream On Netflix

Asha Bromfield is most known for her role on Riverdale, in which she portrays Melody Valentine from the singing group Josie and the Pussycats. She's been on Riverdale since it first came out and it's undoubtedly her most notable role aside from Locke & Key.

Before her gig on Riverdale, she had smaller roles on some TV shows, such as Degrassi: The Next Generation and Rookie Blue. Bromfield also appeared in a few lesser-known TV movies.

Darby Stanchfield - Scandal (2012-2018) - Stream On Hulu

Darby Stanchfield was one of the main actors on Scandal, appearing in every episode of the series. Her character was one that fans either loved or hated, due to her making many controversial decisions.

Other than her many years on Scandal, she has worked on many other series and movies. Stanchfield has appeared on Jericho, the popular 2000s show that was canceled too soon. From there, she also appeared in Mad Men and the Disney+ movie Stargirl.

Aaron Ashmore - Smallville (2006-2011) - Stream On Hulu

Aaron Ashmore is probably most known for his role as Jimmy Olsen in Smallville, in which he played a photographer at the Daily Planet. Ashmore joined Smallville in season 6 but quickly became a series regular. He's often mistaken for his twin brother Shawn Ashmore, who starred in the X-Men movies.

Other than Smallville, Aaron Ashmore starred in Killjoys from 2015 to 2019. He was one of the lead actors on the show, and it definitely left an impression on his career as he was quick to be cast in Locke & Key right after.

Laysla De Oliveira - In The Tall Grass (2019) - Stream On Netflix

Laysla De Oliveira is villainous in Locke & Key, but in Netflix's In The Tall Grass, her character is a victim struggling to survive a large field of grass in which a sinister force resides. In this film, she's lured into the grass by the voice of a lost child. Her role here differs a lot from Locke & Key, where she's trying to harm the children rather than rescue them.

Oliveira also appeared in other television series, even if only briefly. Fans might recognize her from her appearances on the shows Nikita and iZombie.

Connor Jessup - American Crime (2016-2017) - Buy On Vudu

Connor Jessup portrayed Taylor Blaine and Coy Henson on the Emmy-winning series American Crime long before joining Netflix. He was one of the main characters in season 2 and a recurring character in its 3rd season.

Jessup also had a notable role as Simon Atherton on The Saddle Club, a show where many young actors like Chris and Luke Hemsworth also got their start. Jessup also made an appearance on the mini-series Falling Skies.

Griffin Gluck - Just Go With It (2011) - Stream On DirecTV

Griffin Gluck played Jennifer Aniston's son in the comedy-romance film Just Go With ItHis character Michael was an intelligent kid who gave Adam Sandler's character a hard time. He was so much younger in Just Go With It that many fans might fail to recognize him.

Gluck also starred in Tall Girl, the movie about body positivity, and he also plays the love interest except in this film he's not secretly a demon in disguise. Other notable roles include the series American Vandal and Private Practice.
