Olan Rogers, creator of the show Final Space, recently revealed images from a canceled Lobo and Crush show that he once pitched. Projects involving Lobo have been talked about for years now. In 2012, there were talks from Dwayne Johnson about starring as the character in a movie directed by Brad Peyton. The project never happened, and since then, Johnson has endorsed Jeffrey Dean Morgan to play the character. Lobo has appeared in shows such as Young Justice and Krypton. He was introduced in season two of the latter show and was supposed to get a spinoff, but Krypton was canceled and the Lobo spinoff was too.

Lobo was introduced in the DC Comic, Omega Men #3, in 1983. He was born on the planet Czarnia and has interacted with popular characters like Superman. He was originally used as a villain, but has since evolved into the role of an antihero/bounty hunter. Ever since the change in personality, DC fans have adored the character. Crush, another character that was supposed to show up in this canceled show, is Lobo's daughter. She first appeared in Teen Titans Special #1 in 2018. Their appearances throughout the DC Comics media has been revered every time they show up, and fans have wanted as much Lobo and Crush content as they can get.

Now, fans can get a glimpse of what a Lobo and Crush show could have looked like. Twitter user UpToTASK has shared the images from Rogers' pitch to Warner Bros. that he recently posted on LinkedIn. They show off Lobo and Crush, as well as a beautiful shot of space, and one of Lobo riding a creature as they fall out of an explosion. Check out the images down below:

These images show how fun a Lobo and Crush show could have been. Rogers' previous work on Final Space shows that he can do an exciting and fun story set in space while still giving adult themes for those who want it. The Lobo and Crush show would have had an R-rated feel, such as the HBO Max Harley Quinn show. Harley Quinn is known for its raunchiness and adult content, while also managing to please DC fans, so the Lobo and Crush show would have likely followed in its footsteps. A Lobo show would also be a smart move since the character is so popular.

Unfortunately for DC fans, it does not seem that there will be any Lobo content any time soon. Olan Rogers' images reveal what looks to be a strong and thoughtful vision for Lobo and Crush to take center stage in a series. Hopefully, he and Crush will be able to appear in more projects or actually get one of their own soon since DC's focus on their villains has been high as of late.
