One of the most popular films of all time is Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Based on a classic fairy tale and released in 1937, it was actually the first animated feature film released by Disney (or anyone else), which makes it even more iconic! And now, rumors are circulating that a live-action version is coming.

Similar flicks from this magical brand, such as Aladdin and Lady and the Tramp, have done well and been well-received, so it is exciting to think about real people playing these legendary parts. While it is not up to us to pick the stars of this film, we do have some pretty good ideas. Yes, we think the following 10 bright, bubbly, and beautiful actresses were born to be Snow White!

Bailee Madison

Bailee Madison

Bailee Madison has been in movies such as Bridge to Terabithia, Don't Be Afraid of the Dark and Just Go with It and shows such as Wizards of Waverly Place, The Fosters and Good Witch. Oh, and in Once Upon a Time, she played the young version of Snow White!

Her looks and personality make her a great contender for this part, and she is obviously already used to playing this princess. Overall, she seems to have that special spark that would go over beautifully in a Disney flick.

Lucy Hale

Lucy Hale

This is another actress who looks a lot like Snow White, with her fair skin, ruby lips and short dark hair. And, like the others on this list, she may be the one who wins out and gets this role... just maybe.

Yes, Lucy Hale has appeared in everything from Disney shows to scary movies, and her most notable role was being Aria Montgomery in Pretty Little Liars. She can also sing, which gives her an upper hand since leading ladies from this brand are known for their catchy tunes and exceptional voices!

Zooey Deschanel

Zooey Deschanel

On a similar note, there is Zooey Deschanel, who may be better known to some as Jessica Day from New Girl. Does she have the looks? Absolutely. Can she sing? Totally. And will her bubbly attitude and quirky ways translate well into a Disney film? Without a doubt.

Based on her past performances, it is easy to imagine this star in this role. So will she be the chosen one? Fans will just have to wait and see, once this live-action version of this classic tale is finally released!

Lily Collins

Lily Collins

This is another contender who should be well-prepared for this role, since she, too, portrayed Snow White in the past. In 2012, Lily Collins starred in Mirror Mirror as this Disney princess, and it is clear why, just by looking at her.

Furthermore, her dad is Phil Collins, a famous musician who has also worked with this magical brand. He created music for films such as Tarzan and Brother Bear, so it would be neat to see the family traditions continue!

Emilia Clarke

Emilia Clarke

Actress Emilia Clarke has done action flicks, romcoms, holiday movies, animated series and beyond, though she is best known for playing Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones from 2011 to 2019.

Perhaps next on her to-do list could be a Disney film. She has this gorgeous glow to her, she has fair skin and ruby lips, and she can definitely rock brown hair. This would be a great fit and GOT fans would certainly be pleased to see her again.

Alexis Bledel

Alexis Bledel portrayed Dr. Julia Wise on the last "ER" episode.

Alexis Bledel’s most notable roles have been in Tuck Everlasting, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, The Handmaid's Tale and, of course, Gilmore Girls. And while Rory Gilmore is a very introverted character, Bledel could certainly pull off a bright and bubbly Disney princess.

And, like everyone else on this list, her looks qualify her for consideration. The skin, the hair, the sparkling blue eyes… She would make a terrific Snow White!

Camilla Belle

Camilla Belle

Next up is Camilla Belle, who has been in everything from The Lost World: Jurassic Park and When a Stranger Calls to Walker, Texas Ranger. Last year, she was in Mickey Mouse Mixed-Up Adventures, a Disney Junior show. That being said, she is familiar with the brand, and she could be the one for this role!

Snow White is kind, pretty and simply magical, and once again, here is a celebrity who can easily be pictured playing this part.

Sarah Hyland

Sarah Hyland

On the hit comedy show Modern Family, Sarah Hyland plays Haley Dunphy. Most people know that fact, but here is another fun one! In 2011, she was in a Disney Channel Original Movie called Geek Charming. So, she also has experience with this brand. Plus, just look at her: She could be perfect to play the one true live-action Snow White!

This pint-size star can act, sing and dance, and her bright and beautiful smile would help in creating another wonderfully magic movie.

Mackenzie Foy

Mackenzie Foy

Mackenzie Foy was in The Twilight Saga as Renesmee Cullen. She's been in big films like The Conjuring and Interstellar. And last year, she played Clara Stahlbaum in The Nutcracker and the Four Realms. As a Disney film, this holiday classic had glitter and glamour and a gorgeous star, which is partly why Foy has made this list!

She is the right age, she has the right look, and she would show off all of Snow White’s qualities in the best way possible. Yes, it is simple to picture her starring in a live-action version.

India Eisley

India Eisley

There is one more actress to think about here: India Eisley. She is best known for portraying Ashley Juergens on The Secret Life of the American Teenager. However, she has also played a different Disney princess; in 2016, she starred in The Curse of Sleeping Beauty as Briar Rose / The Sleeping Beauty!

Any of these attractive actresses could play any of the leading ladies from this brand. They all have that fair skin and dark hair, as well as those beautiful and bright personalities, which could be the perfect fit.
