During the new season of the hit TLC show, Matt Roloff from Little People, Big World won't purchase the farm from his ex-wife, Amy Roloff.

They were married for 26 years before calling it quits in 2016, after years of battling one another for a say in their marriage. While many fans understood that the couple had their own set of issues, no one knew that Matt actually had more than a working relationship with his current girlfriend Caryn Chandler while he was still Amy's husband. The Little People Big World divorce has been tense at times, but Amy and Matt are both standing their ground.

On TLC’s premiere episode, fans watched as Matt openly admitted to wanting to buy the north side of the farm. This particular side of the farm contains the pumpkin patch and the big house that Amy is currently moving out of. The farmer made it clear that he wanted both aspects of the north side, which are residential and business. Check out the video below:

Amy was rattled by the news since it was only two months before Christmas. She felt it was too quick a decision to make in light of the time frame given by her ex-husband. Matt made it clear that he had some investment opportunities that he wanted to take part in, but his partners needed the money by the end of the year. The Little People Big World father of four put the heat on Amy. He really wanted a decision before Christmas. The episode shows that Amy did not meet the deadline and Matt essentially told cameras that he would not be buying her half of the farm. However, Amy did in fact sell a portion of her half of the farm to Matt for around $600,000. This information is gleaned from Oregon property records that were obtained by Radar Online.  The sale is not as cut and dried as many would assume, and Matt has kept his followers up to date on the process. Amy still owns some shares of the farm's north side.

Amy has since moved off the farm into her new home, which is only a short distance away. Matt has also admitted that taking care of the entire Roloff farm is a bit of a struggle, especially since he winters in Arizona. Both Amy and Matt had expressed hope that their twins would take over the farm. In a sneak peek for the coming season, Zack Roloff does start to express interest. Maybe this is the year he and his wife Tori decide to move into the big house and make it their own!
