Followers of Little People, Big World have watched Matt Roloff and Caryn Chandler date for years, but fans shouldn't hold their breath for a proposal anytime soon. Since his divorce from Amy Roloff, Matt has enjoyed his freedom as he can mostly do what he wants. While Caryn seems to be the perfect partner, viewers are curious why Matt hasn't dropped down to one knee yet.

During a recent episode of Little People, Big World, viewers were a bit surprised to hear Matt say he is in no rush to marry Caryn. Even though the couple has been dating since 2017, Matt is once again choosing to put a farm project ahead of his relationship. Matt often put big life decisions on the back burner when he was with Amy, and it looks like old habits die hard. Matt shared with viewers that he knows Caryn is most likely disappointed since he has her "hanging out in limbo."

Since his divorce and buyout of Amy, the Little People, Big World star has been talking about building a new home on his property for years. Matt has always wanted to build a house that is equipped to suit him and his height needs. In Matt's creative mind, proposing to Caryn doesn't make sense until they have a place where they can both live comfortably. While Matt may think his reasoning is solid, most would think Caryn is getting annoyed by being put on the back burner.

Recently, it was announced that Caryn would not be returning to Little People, Big World, instead choosing to move full-time to Surprise, AZ. It was revealed that Caryn has had quite enough of being made out to be the villain. It didn't help that the mother of two inserted herself into the feud with Matt and Zach. Viewers believe that Caryn should have steered clear of the altercation and blame her for a lot of the angry feelings.

The newest season of Little People, Big World has shown Matt and Caryn practically exiled from the Roloff family. Zach chose to move his wife, Tori, and their children an hour out of state to Battleground, WA to start over. While Jeremy recently bought a farm only eight minutes away from Matt, there has been no sign he has even visited his father. For now, Matt continues to get precisely what he wants, but viewers don't believe Caryn will be okay waiting around for too much longer. It is quite possible she has already drawn a line in the sand with her relocation to Arizona.
