Lisa Rinna from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was dragged by fans when she recently launched her new Rinna Beauty lip kits. Even though Rinna has been in the entertainment business for quite some time, RHOBH is what really made her a household name. She joined the popular reality franchise in 2014, alongside Eileen Davidson, and quickly became a staple of the show after string the pot on more than one occasion.
Now fans have begun to dislike her after the way she treated Denise Richards this past season. Some have even started to call for her to be fired from the show. Whether that will happen has yet to be seen.
According to All About The Tea, viewers are not loving the 57-year-old's new lip kits, either. The fan account on Instagram, @allaboutthrh, shared Rinna's new lip kit post and asked followers if they plan on checking out her new brand. This post led to a lot of backlash towards the actresses and her iconic lips. “Not if they make mine look like hers!!" one fan wrote alongside crying-laughing emojis. “Does it come with injections like she has. She’s false advertising,” said another.
The post received a number of hateful comments with some even saying they would never buy anything the reality star is selling. Many fans have started to turn on Rinna as they now believe her to be fake and mean. Others even called her lips "fake" alluding that she is falsely advertising the quality of her product. Viewers went from loving to hating Rinna after she bullied Denise this past season for sleeping with Brandi Glanville and not owning up to it. Viewers found her to be mean and insensitive.
The actress revealed in a press release that she always planned on creating a brand behind her infamous big lips. “I’ve always joked about being the lip pioneer. I’ve always wanted to do something with these lips,” she admitted. “I finally feel like we’re getting to do it and have fun and have a sense of humor, and really bring quality items that I just absolutely love, that my heart and soul are in and part of.” Rinna calls her new brand an extension of who she is and created it for people who love beauty, style and want to feel their best. The product, Rinna Beauty’s Lip Icon Collection, features three $45 lip kits: Birthday Suit, Legend, and No Apologies. Each kit includes lipstick, lip gloss, and lip liner.
Rinna is being mocked by fans because of her behavior from this past season. If Rinna would have just been more understanding of Denise maybe fans would be more receptive to her lip kits.
