The Lion King has looked very faithful to the original in previous trailers. 4 / 8

The change is likely to make Scar look more realistic than the cartoon... 5 / 8

And more obviously the brother of Mufasa. 6 / 8

Given the approach of the new Lion King, we can expect other characters to get a redesign too. 7 / 8

Fortunately, Ejiofor sounds suitably menacing, so hopefully this change is a good one. 8 / 8
