A previous TV spot has already teased fans of "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" from Glover and Beyonce, and hints of "The Circle of Life" echo at the start of this newest promo clip, and then "Hakuna Matata." From the most part, all songs play out similar to how it did 25 years ago, but with a slight twist just to give it a modern flare, and Pharell coming in to produce some of these songs help with that. Not all songs from the 1994 The Lion King will be used in its contemporary adaptation, but it makes sense that the aforementioned tracks, including “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King,” as well as "Be Prepared" and "He Lives in You" are included in the 2019 track list considering that they're all integral to their corresponding scenes.
Easily the most infectious song from The Lion King soundtrack, there's immense pressure capture the same vibe that "Hakuna Matata" had when it first debuted in 1994. As the title of the song suggests, it marks the turnaround in Simba's life where he starts to not caring about the responsibility he left at Pride Rock and just start to live as carelessly as possible. Glover himself told Eichner and Rogen that they did a great job recording the music in the clip, and based on the teaser fans have heard from the song, it seems like he's not wrong.
