Lint is an uncommon resource in Grounded, primarily used to craft Lint Rope using a Spinning Wheel. Lint Rope is a highly sought-after material because it is used in over a dozen late-game recipes for weaponry, armor, gear, and structures for base building. For instance, those looking to craft the Scythe of Blossoms, Termite Armor, or Charcoal Canteen must know where to find this rare resource in Grounded.

Fortunately, Lint is easy to find since it only spawns in two locations every two to three in-game days in Grounded. The first location is the doormat in front of the Shed in the Upper Yard, and the second is the Abandoned Gardening Glove, which is less than a few feet away from the Shed. To reach this doormat, players must make their way to the upper-left corner of the map by the BBQ Grill. Next, they must follow the stone pathway to the giant red bicycle lying on its side. Starting from the right wheel, players can climb onto the bike and use it as a bridge to reach the Shed's porch.

To gather the Lint from the doormat, players must use a Tier-3 Chopping Tool in Grounded on the Lint Clumps that are dotted about the area. The best Tool for the job would be the Termite Axe, an upgrade to the Insect Axe that costs Termite Chompers ×2, Crow Feather Pieces ×2, and Tough Gunk ×4.

Marked Lint Locations on the Grounded Map

According to the Grounded Wiki, Termites generally reside in the Undershed and Woodpile biomes of the Upper Yard. However, remember that the chomper mandibles only drop from Termite Soldier variants. Crow Feather Pieces can be randomly found in Buried Treasure or feathers dropped near Crow's various landing locations. Finally, Tough Gunk can be collected from a wide variety of bugs, from Ladybirds to Black Ox Beetles. After gathering the necessary materials, players will be able to harvest the doormat's Lint Clump nodes for Lint in Grounded. Still, be mindful of the hoard of Dust Mites that aggressively patrol the entryway of the Shed.

As noted above, another Lint farming location in Grounded is the Abandoned Gardening Glove, which can be found on the ground southwest of the Shed's doormat. To reach this glove, go to the left corner of the Shed's porch and glide down to the Dry Grass below. Two Lint Clumps will always spawn on the left and right sides of the glove, specifically in the area where one's hand would go in.
