Chrisley Knows Best star, Todd Chrisley's daughter Lindsie Chrisley says that he accused her of having an affair with tax investigator. This is not the first time Todd has given names of people his daughter allegedly had extramarital affairs with.

Back in August, there was a 12-count indictment issued against Todd and Julie Chrisley - which includes charges of wire fraud, conspiracy to commit bank fraud, and conspiracy to defraud the United States. They were accused of owing more than $2.1 million in unpaid state taxes between 2008 and 2016. Todd and Julie maintained their innocence, saying that the alleged tax fraud all began with a former employee seeking revenge on the family. Last month, the Georgia Department of Revenue looked over the evidence and agreed on a settlement for the Chrisleys to pay. Of the original debt of $2.1 million, they settled for $150,000. That is only the state tax side of things, they still have to face the federal government for other charges and could face jail time.

His daughter, Lindsie Chrisley, claims to be a victim caught in the crossfire of her father's legal issues. She sat down on Dr. Phil to explain her side of the story. Earlier the media obtained a police report that Lindsie filed against her father and brother, alleging that her father, Todd, had told her that her brother, Chase Chrisley, had purchased a sex tape of her along with nude photos. She explained that he used the alleged sex tape to intimidate her into cooperating and lying for him in regards to the indictment. In response, Todd said that his daughter's allegations were false then went to the media to give names of two former Bachelorette contestants that Lindsie reportedly had extramarital affairs with. In the interview with Dr. Phil, she explained that she met with her estranged father, where she was expecting an apology for things that have happened the past. She said that her father informed her of his incitement and began accusing her of meeting with a tax investigator at a Starbucks. See the Dr. Phil interview below:

Lindsie denied ever meeting the individual, but she said that her father didn't believe her. According to Lindsie, her father insisted, "He said, ‘You met this person multiple times at Starbucks and there was an affair that was going on.'" Then she told him, "'No, that’s not the truth.'" Dr. Phil asked Lindsie is she was, in fact, a "whistleblower" that tipped off the federal government regarding her family's alleged wrongdoings. Lindsie, however, maintains she had nothing to do with the fact that her family was indicted. At the same moment the Dr. Phil interview is released, so was the information that Todd and Julie are suing Georgia Department of Revenue's Office of Special Investigations Director Joshua Waites for, according to the press release, "abusing the power of his office" during the probe. Todd and Chrisley alleged that Waites "aggressively" pursued a relationship with Todd's estranged daughter, Lindsie. Todd believed Waits tried to get close to his daughter "in an effort to induce her to reveal compromising information about her family."

In the confusing web of allegations, lies, and truth - fans will have to wait and see which side of the story is correct. It seems that the very public battle between Lindsie and the rest of her family continues. While the Chrisley Knows Best fans wait for the truth to be uncovered, the Chrisley family continue to fight their legal battles with the federal government.
