While Lil Dicky admits his rapping style is more than comedic, his talent is far from a joke. In a semi-autobiographical take of his journey becoming a rapper, Lil Dicky created DAVE, an FXX show which just ended its first season.

Celebrities from Julie Louis-Dreyfuss to Madonna have sung praises of DAVE, itching for more of the masterful, relatable, and highly entertaining content that Dave Burd (Lil Dicky) and his co-creator Jeff Schafer (SeinfeldCurb Your Enthusiasm) have delivered throughout the first season. Another aspect of DAVE that fans appreciate is the inclusion of the industry's finest, immersing rappers and celebrities into the story. Here's a list of the top ten celebrities who appeared throughout season one of DAVE.

YG

The successful "Toot It and Boot It" rapper YG happens to be the centrifugal force of the pilot episode, "The Gander." When Dave catches wind that YG is recording in the same studio he frequents, he runs into GaTa — his future hype-man and confidant — who gives Dave advice and networking connections, despite Dave's reluctance and suspicion.

After Dave connects with YG's manager and gets the approval to stop by the studio, he ends up proving everyone in the studio wrong by dropping a killer freestyle, which YG puts live on his Instagram and gets Dave blown up.

MACKLEMORE

In the second episode titled "Dave's First," a strange scenario arises when Dave is asked to perform at a child's memorial, which happens to be his first performance. The parents tell Dave that he was their child's favorite rapper, alongside Macklemore, Dave's mere mortal enemy.

After going through the phases of being nervous and overthinking things to being fully on board and ready to rumble, Dave is informed that his services will no longer be needed when Mackelmore happens to show up unexpectedly.

TRAVIS "TACO" BENNETT

Travis "Taco" Bennett, best known for his work in the rap supergroup Odd Future (headed by Tyler The Creator), is one of the main characters in DAVE, known as "Elz" Dave's trusty right-hand man and producer that he's known since sleepaway camp.

The episode "What Wood You Wear?" centers solely around Elz as helps his girlfriend after her laptop is stolen, and winds up buying a literal shirt made of wood for a kid he's babysitting after a rapper asks him to pay his dues.

MARSHMELLO

Elz tries to look under Marshemello's head

Christopher Comstock, also known as his stage name "Marshmello," is an electronic music producer and DJ popular amongst the future bass genre. Marshmello makes an appearance in the episode "PIBE" as the DJ at Justin Bieber's party.

Elz drunkenly (and mistakenly) runs into Marshmello and harasses him about wearing a helmet, insisting he takes it off at the party, resulting in a much-deserved head butt.

BENNY BLANCO

Benny Blanco looking surprised in Dave

Benny Blanco (stylized as benny blanco), the world-renowned songwriter and record producer who's worked with stars from Selena Gomez to Rihanna and Ed Sheeran, makes a hilarious guest appearance in DAVE as himself. After Dave's record label recommends benny as his newest producer, Dave immediately protests, demanding he's not a pop artist.

When Dave goes to meet benny at his house, benny gives an unforgettably epic introduction when he practically recites a soliloquy revolving the "somebody suck me" joke strewn throughout the series.

KOURTNEY KARDASHIAN

Kourtney Kardashian

Kourtney Kardashian does an excellent job parodying herself in the episode "PIBE," where Dave meets the superstar at Justin Bieber's party and discusses male childbirth.

Kourtney recounts the time she pulled her son from her vagina as she was going into labor and delivering him, and somehow Caitlyn Jenner gets brought up even without a name drop. Dave's girlfriend Ally (Taylor Misinak) is star-struck when she arrives at the party.

YOUNG THUG

The popular rapper Young Thug appears in the episode "Somebody" during a hilarious scene in which Dave sits down to smoke a bowl with Young Thug and Gunna, another notable rapper, dazzled and stricken by their presence.

After Young Thug takes a hit an uncontrollably coughs, Dave questions whether or not he's sick, and refuses to smoke out of the same device, letting his paranoia and neuroses get the best of him.

TRIPPIE REDD

Trippie Redd is a rapper best known for his collaborations with Travis Scott, Lil Yachty, and Juice Wrld, and appears in two episodes of the first season of DAVE. First, in the episode "Somebody," Trippie appears at the art show the gang attends, and GaTa walks right up to him pretending to be homies in order to get Elz a foot in the door for a sound engineering gig.

Then, Trippie Redd returns in "What Wood You Wear?" when Elz ends up taking over Trippie's babysitting duties, going on a shopping spree with a small, blinged-out child who's handed a wad of cash by the rapper.

CHARLAMAGNE THA GOD

Charlamange Tha God, best known for hosting the popular hip-hop radio show The Breakfast Club, makes an appearance in the season finale when Dave does his first Breakfast Club Freestyle, and absolutely kills it.

Charlamange initially pokes fun at Dave, believing he's just a joke and can't actually spit bars, and within a minute's time, he's bumping his head and getting down to the lyrics behind Dave's genius capabilities.

JUSTIN BIEBER

With so many rappers on this list, it probably comes as a shock to learn that Justin Bieber also appeared in DAVE. During his introduction to benny blanco, Dave meets The Biebs, and instantaneously fan-girls over the musician, who happens to compliment his song.

Dave is blown away that Bieber has listened to his music, and the surrealism continues when he gets invited to Bieb's house party, the same house party where he muses over childbirth with Kourtney Kardashian and witnesses Elz get head-butted by Marshmello's industrious headgear.
