Chapter 3's collectible Memories in Life is Strange: True Colors are fairly well hidden and easy to miss on the first playthrough. While the Life is Strange series focuses mainly on its narrative and players' choices, and how these choices affect the story, players can find a wide variety of collectibles when exploring. In Life is Strange: True Colors, Alex can come across Memories. With her emotional aura abilities, she's able to use her emotions to find out the feelings of the Memory attached. It offers players a better look at the world around them and is required for players looking to collect every trophy or achievement in the game.

When exploring, players can use the trigger buttons so Alex can locate Memories. It is also possible to replay chapters after completing them, so, if a player has missed a Memory in a previous chapter, they can go back and look for it again. By the time players reach Chapter 3 in Life is Strange: True Colors, the plot has already started to unfold.
