Lacey Whitlow's Life After Lockup love triangle continues after she reaches out to her ex John Slater to reveal Shane's alleged "deception." Lacey and Shane's marriage is in shambles and now Lacey decides to reach out to the one person who is always there for her. Despite John being happy in his current relationship with his new girlfriend Julie, he still makes time to answer Lacey's calls. Since she's feeling "lost," Lacey reaches out to John to tell him how she misses him and wants to see him. But John is reluctant to mess up the good thing he has with Julie and can't forget how many times Lacey broke his heart in the past.

Since season 2 of Love After Lockup, Lacey has continued to toy back and forth between her longtime ex John and her husband Shane. At the time of her show debut, Lacey was dating both John and Shane while they were serving out time in prison. Lacey was actually engaged to John while still engaging in flirtatious behavior with Shane. Once Shane was released before John, Lacey wasted no time shacking up with him. Upon John's release, he has made countless attempts to win Lacey back, to no avail. Now that he has finally decided to move on with his life, Lacey has found an excuse to try and reel him back in.

Following Shane's lie detector test that revealed signs of deception when it came to Shane's online activity, Lacey has decided to reach back out to John to spend time with him. In an exclusive WeTV clip of the Friday, November 5 episode, Lacey fills John in on Shane's test results and makes a plea to spend time with her ex. Lacey confesses to John how Shane has been leaving her and their new baby inside of the house for at least 10 hours. "You know he ain't working so what the hell you think he was doing," John asked. "Is he cheating on you or something?" Lacey goes on to admit that Shane showed deception when asked if he was talking to other guys. Shane admitted to entertaining conversations with men on OnlyFans but claims it was only so he could make money on the platform.

John sounds extremely surprised at Lacey having to get her husband to take a lie detector test. "They're married now," John says to producers. While on the phone with Lacey, John tells his ex she made the wrong choice in deciding to be with Shane over him. Lacey seemingly agrees and admits she feels "stupid." She goes on to tell John how much she misses him and propositions him to meet up with her sometime. But John is living with his girlfriend Julie and he doesn't want to mess up a good thing. He admits Julie doesn't want him talking to Lacey. "I feel like Julie is my second chance at finding somebody, that love, that soulmate, that connection," John says.

He tells Lacey that the past is the past and he doesn't want to spend time with her. "Cutting Lacey out of my life makes my life so much better. So much less stressful," John says. He admits it's hard to let go of Lacey and tells her he'll be there for her if things ever get physical with Shane. It's a bold move for John after viewers watched him put himself in bad situations just to try to win Lacey's affection. Now, the tables have turned and Lacey is trying to get John back. It's clear Lacey and Shane might want to consider taking some time apart. The Life After Lockup couple has been trying to make their marriage work, but with no trust, they aren't holding on to much.
