Andrea Edwards previously revealed how she and her husband Lamar Jackson conceived their daughter, Priscilla. In an exclusive interview with ScreenRant, the Life After Lockup star revealed how hard it was for her to share Priscilla's conception on television.

Andrea and Lamar's transparency have made them fan-favorites on Life After Lockup. The pair were introduced in season two of Love After Lockupand viewers were instantly drawn to their relationship due to their drastically different lifestyles and personalities. Andrea prides herself on being a devout Mormon and mother to her three kids, while Lamar was completing an 18-year prison sentence following a former life of a crime as a LA gangbanger. The two fell in love while Lamar was incarcerated and conceived their eight-year-old daughter Priscilla through an unofficial conjugal visit.

During their first season on the WeTV hit show, Andrea made the shocking revelation that her youngest daughter was conceived while Lamar was in jail. The couple paid a security guard to allow them to shack up inside of a prison closet. One thing led to another and Priscilla was born. While on Love After Lockup, Andrea shared her immaculate conception news with her family and church friends. While recently speaking with ScreenRant, Andrea shared how hard it was for her to come clean. "I think a lot of people don't know this," Andrea explained. "But it was seriously so hard for me to tell the kids how Priscilla was conceived".

Andrea and Lamar Life After Lockup

While Priscilla was conceived with Lamar, Andrea's two older kids, Tennison and Christina, are from a previous relationship. Her two teenagers had no idea how their little sister was conceived until Andrea told them on the show. "You have to understand that for 7 years, I kept it a secret," Andrea revealed to ScreenRant before going into more detail. "That weekend, he had just gotten off parole, so I finally felt free to tell my friends."Andrea already told her friends before telling her children. She decided to tell them before word spread. "Before my friends tell their kids or their kids overhear them talking about it," Andrea shared. "We had to tell our kids." 

She explained how awkward the conversation still is for the family. "It's still difficult, bringing up the topic," the WeTV star said. "When I talk to my family or our families, it's really hard and uncomfortable."
